Questo il primo post dedicato alla mini gita che abbiamo fatto la settimana scorsa nello splendido borgo di Manarola (una delle località delle Cinque Terre, nella Riviera Ligure di Levante). Una passeggiata serale, totalmente immersa in un’atmosfera fantastica e “surreale”, quasi come far parte di uno splendido dipinto nel quale perdersi coi pensieri e lasciare volare liberamente i sogni. Manarola: un paesaggio unico al mondo… grazie per avermi fatto vivere nuove ed intense emozioni !

This is the first post dedicated to the short trip we took last week in the beautiful village of Manarola (one of the small towns of the Cinque Terre, on the Levante Ligurian coastline). An evening stroll, completely immersed in the fantastic and “surreal” atmosphere, as though being part of a beautiful painting where you can get lost in your thoughts and let your dreams fly freely. Manarola: the most unique view in the world…thanks for making me live new and intense moments!

Ad un anno dalla nascita degli ormai famosissimi braccialetti con le ancore “Love boat” di MIA’s, i creatori-ideatori del brand hanno organizzato la terza tappa del tour (dopo Milano e Firenze) in una delle località balneari più frequentate e  in voga del Tirreno: Forte dei Marmi.

La Capannina – uno dei locali più esclusivi e storici d’Italia – la location del meraviglioso party di MIA’s. Un red carpet perfetto con tanto di tabellone da super star, una deliziosa cena rigorosamente a base di pesce, bellissima gente e braccialetti MIA’s ovunque hanno colorato e rallegrato questa bellissima serata. Ma non è tutto; proprio sabato Jerry Calà  mito storico della commedia italiana, ha festeggiato il suo sessantaduesimo compleanno. L’attore-showman si è esibito in tutto il suo splendore, regalando a tutti i presenti un repertorio di canzoni davvero sensazionali. Un piacevolissimo tuffo nel passato e tanti bei ricordi.

Un party davvero esclusivo, unico e pensato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Grazie MIA’s, La Capannina e grazie a tutta la bellissima gente che abbiamo avuto il piacere di incontrare!

A year on from the day that they were born, the creators of  MIA’s famous “Love Boat” bracelets with an anchor organised their third tour stop (after Milan and Florence) in one of the most well-known seaside locations: Forte dei Marmi.

La Capannina – one of the most exclusive and historic places in Italy – was the fabulous location for MIA’s party. A red carpet event with super star touches, a delicious fish-based dinner, beautiful people and where MIA’s bracelets happily coloured the evening. But this was not all. Jerry Calà, famous Italian comedian celebrated his sixty-second birthday too that evening. The actor-showman exhibited himself in his full glory, singing a senastional repetoire for everyone. A delightful dive into the past and fond memories.

A really exclusive party, unique and careful attention to detail. Thank you MIA’s, La Capannina and thanks to all the beautiful people whom I had the pleasure of meeting!

LACE AND COLORS

Finalmente il tanto atteso e desiderato sole è arrivato, regalandoci (speriamo per un bel po’), giornate intense di luce. Un outfit ispirato proprio alla bella stagione: decisamente allegro e colorato. Protagonista, l’abito bicolor in pizzo di Sfizio, brand rigorosamente  made in Italy che ho piacevolmente scoperto da poco. Un look facile, fresco e “leggero”, interpretabile a modo proprio e  ideale per svariate occasioni (preferibilmente diurne).

Finally the long awaited and much hoped for sun has arrived, giving us (we hope for atleast a while) lots of bright sunny days. An outfit most definately inspired by the beautiful season: decisively happy and colourful. The protagonist is the bicolour, lace dress, by Sfizio, a rigourously Made in Italy brand, a brand which I have just recently discovered. An easy, fresh and “light” look, interpreted in my own unique way and ideal for a variety of occassions (preferably daytime).

Solitamente quando preparo un nuovo outfit, parto sempre da qualcosa che mi da la giusta ispirazione per creare il total look. In questo caso il punto di partenza è stato l’abito in crochet di Kontatto. Non sapevo esattamente quale direzione prendere, ma sicuramente una cosa la sapevo: non poteva essere un’ outfit normale. Avevo voglia di “giocare” con i colori. Proprio per questo motivo ho voluto chiamare questo post “My mood”. Perché è venuto così, senza pensare a nulla di specifico. Semplicemente ho seguito l’istinto. Tutto qui 😉

Usually when I prepare a new outfit, I start from something that gives me the right input to create a look. In this case the starting point was the Kontatto crochet dress. I didn’t exactly know which direction to take, but one thing was for sure: it couldn’t be just a normal outfit. I wanted to “play” with colours. It is for this reason that I wanted to call this post “My mood”. Because it turned out in this way, without really thinking of anything specific. I simply followed my instinct. That’s it 😉

La maglia in lana effetto “used” impreziosita da micro paillettes multicolor di Zara e gli originalissimi leggins, caratterizzati dalla combinazione di due favolosi tessuti (eco-pelle avanti e tessuto viscosa retro) di Marcucci Moda: un abbinamento facile e soprattutto ideale per i nostri outfit quotidiani, senza però mai rinunciare al glam! Ma come sempre, sono gli accessori a fare la differenza e in qualche modo a”decidere” il mood di ogni look. Adoro i cappelli, specialmente in questa stagione. Quello che indosso e’ in panno con una deliziosa applicazione di rose in tulle e raso.
La maxi bag: un vero must have da indossare di giorno, perfetta per la citta’. La mia  V73 in canvas,  Travel Italy  e’ diventata ormai da qualche tempo fidatissima compagna di viaggi e di avventure. Pratica, comoda e versatile, perfetta per svariate occasioni, si adatta a tantissimi outfit.
Gli ankle boots scamosciati stringati con zeppa li ho comprati l’inverno scorso sul sito Top Shop (in assoluto uno dei miei siti preferiti per sicuri e originali acquisti online). Per finire i bracciali: accessorio sempre “piu’ must” e cool. Le Pandorine (noto brand conosciuto da tempo per le ironiche e divertenti frasi stampate sulle borse), visto l’enorme successo dell’estate scorsa, ha riproposto il bracciale in morbida gomma a forma di catena, con deliziose “charms borsa” pendenti in nuance, nella nuova versione autunno-inverno 2012-13 su cui non può mancare la grafica “Normal but Special”. Insieme ho abbinato il bracciale Creattiva (by Imma Lazzaro) in satin e mini teschio silver e l’ormai famosissimo “Love Boat” di MIa’s. Quello che indosso, in grigio, è uno dei nuovi colori proposti per questa stagione dalla creatrice Alessia Novelli.
Insomma un outfit abbastanza low cost, facile per tutti e interpretabile in tantissime varianti 😉The multicoloured, Zara, woollen “used” effect jumper embellished with micro sequins  and the very original Marcucci Moda leggings, characterized by a combination of two fabrics (eco-leather on the front and viscose on the back). An easy outfit ideal for daily use, without ever foregoing the glam! But as always, it’s the accessories that make the difference and in a certain way “decide” the mood for every look. I love hats, especially in this season. The one I am wearing is cloth with a delicate net and satin rose. The maxi bag is a must-have for everyday use, and perfect for citylife. My canvas V73 Travel Italy has become my faithful companion for all my travels and adventures. Practical, comfortable and versatile, perfect for all sorts of occassions and it matches every outfit.
I bought the suede, wedge, tie-up boots last winter from the Top Shop website (one of my favourite websites for safe and original online purchases). To finish off the bracelets: an accessory which with the passing of every day has becoming more of a “must-have” and cool. After the huge success of Le Pandorine’s bracelets this past summer,(a brand well-known for its printed ironic and fun phrases)   has once again proposed the bracelet in a soft rubber chain, with very cute “bag” charms in nuance. In the new autumn-winter 2012-13 version the phrase “Normal but special” is present. Alongside this, I wore the Creattiva bracelet (by Imma Lazzaro) which is in satin with a mini skull. It has now become the well-known “Love Boat” by MIa’s. The one I’m wearing is grey; one of the new colours introduced for this season by the creator Alessia Novelli.
In short a low-cost outfit, easy for all and  that can be interpreted in a variety of different ways 😉
