Mentre scrivo questo post, una ragazza thailandese mi sta facendo un meraviglioso massaggio ai piedi e alle gambe, specifico per liberare i chakra dalle tensioni e dalle energie negative. La mente è meno pesante, la scrittura più leggera. Scrivo d’istinto, di getto. Sono gli ultimi giorni dell’anno. Il 2013 è stato -lavorativamente parlando- pieno e intenso. Vivace, faticoso, a tratti sofferente. Tanti i pensieri i dubbi, le indecisioni. Il 2013 è stato ricco di nuove emozioni: forti, belle, diverse, tristi. Ma anche di rotture con persone/situazioni. Anche questa volta ho voluto dedicare l’ultimo post dell’anno ai momenti più significativi e memorabili che ho vissuto. Un piccolo modo per ringraziare Voi, “vecchi e nuovi” amici che mi seguite e mi “leggete” con costanza, amore e passione. In ogni foto c’è una parte di me: rock, romantica, glamour, noir, spensierata, colorata, malinconica e nostalgica. Mille volti ma una sola anima. Quell’ anima a tratti irrequieta  alla continua ricerca di qualcosa.
Grazie di cuore a tutti voi, perché senza di voi Dotgirl non esisterebbe. Ed è grazie a voi che nonostante tutto continuo e non mi fermo. Passione, dedizione, lavoro, creatività. In queste foto c’è tutto questo. Marcella con la sua inseparabile macchina fotografica riesce perfettamente a catturare, catturarmi. Solo con lei riesco ad essere così come mi vedete. Io! Io e miei molteplici volti. Il 2014 ? E chi lo sa! La mia domanda oramai da tempo rimane sempre la stessa: “Bimbi, cosa farei da grande”…?! Auguri, auguri di cuore a tutti voi. Cercate nei vostri sogni quello che desiderate di più… E non smettete per un solo secondo di ” lottare”… tutto può succedere. #ungiornoforse

While I am writing this post, a Thai girl is giving me a wonderful massage to both legs and feet, which is specifically aimed at freeing the chakra of tension and negative energies. My mind is heavy but my writing is more lightweight. I am writing on instinct. It is the end of the year. 2013, workwise, has been full and intense. Vivacious, tiring and sometimes painful. There have been many doubts and indecisions. 2013 has been full of rich emotions: strong, beautiful, different, sad ones. But even of broken friendships. Once again I wanted to dedicate the last post of the year to more significant and memorable moments that I have lived. In every photo there is a part of me: rock, romantic, glamour, noir, carefree, coloured, sad and nostalgic. A million faces but only one soul. That soul which at times is agitated with a continuous search for something.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone, because Dotgirl wouldn’t exist without you. And it is thanks to you that I continue and never stop. Passion, dedication, work, creativity. There is everything in these photos. Marcella and her insperable camera can perfectly capture everything aswell as me. I am only able to be the way you see me when I am with her. Me! Me and my multiple faces. 2014? Who knows! My question, which has been the same for a while now, always remains the same: “Bimbi, what do you want to be when you grow up” …?! Best wishes to everyone. Search deeply in your dreams for what you most desire… and don’t stop for a single second to “fight”  because everything can happen.

Adoro i colori, adoro mischiarli tra di loro, proprio come in una tavolozza.  Provare e sentire addosso nuove emozioni e vibrazioni. Forti, intense, calde, fredde. Pop. Il mood che ho scelto per quest’outfit, è decisamente energetico e grintoso. Dettagli metallici, linee geometriche ed essenziali, accenti fumettosi, influenze cibernetiche. Uno sfondo che si presta perfettamente al look scelto. Foto allegre, spensierate, vivaci. Un modo  per sorridere e “combattere” il cupo grigiore invernale.

I love colours and mixing them amongst themselves, just like on a palette. To feel new emotions and feelings on oneself. Strong, intense, warm, cold. Pop. The mood that I have chosen for this outfit is decisively energetic and bold. Metallic details, geometric and essential lines, cartoon touches, cybernetic effects. A background which goes perfectly with my chosen look.  Happy, carefree and vivacious photos. A way of smiling and “fighting” the grey winter gloom.

L’idea di questo secondo post-outfit  dedicato alle feste e alle ricorrenze speciali, ha tratto ispirazione da un meraviglioso sogno che ho fatto una notte. Si, proprio così. Avevo sognato di rindossare le mie vecchie scarpine da punta di un bel po’ di anni fa. Ero in una sala da ballo con un meraviglioso abito da sera. In questo post ho cercato di materializzare il sogno. Il vestito che indosso, si prestava molto bene per questo genere di foto e di mood. Il tema è il party, i colori sono oro e nero. La veletta è estremamente chic, e dona al look quel non so che di mistero e di “lontana eleganza”. Pochi bijoux, make-up leggero, uno chignon moderno e contemporaneo.  Un’infinita aria sognante.

This idea of a second post-outfit dedicated to all the festivities and special occasions, has been inspired by a magnificent dream that I had one evening. Just like that. I had dreamt of wearing my old ballet points once again. I was in a dance hall with a fabulous evening gown. In this post I tried to materialise that dream. The dress that I’m wearing was really apt for these types of photographs and mood. The veil is extremely chic and gives that look an almost mysterious and “far off elegant” feel. Just a few bijoux and a modern and contemporary chignon. An endless, dreamy air.
