LA STANZA DEGLI SPECCHI “LONTANI”…

Ancora un post-outfit romantico e sognante, nel quale predominano “decisi” e intensi colori pastello. Una specie di fiaba dallo spirito moderno e contemporaneo. Una bellissima villa dei primi del ‘900, una stanza spoglia, “lontana” e quasi fatiscente. Una serie di grandissimi specchi. Pochi bijoux, ma essenziali. Un make-up sobrio e delicato, un’acconciatura – frisè raccolto-, che riporta indietro nel tempo… “un’antica baronessa”, per certi versi impaurita e dubbiosa, ma con quel giusto pizzico di imponenza e vanità, che ama ammirarsi tra quegli specchi, nei quali poi a riflettersi è la sua anima…o probabilmente le sue innumerevoli anime.

Another romantic and dreamy post, in which the “decisive” and intense pastel colours  prevail. A type of fairytale with a modern and contemporary twist. A beautiful villa from the 900’s, a bare room, “far away” and almost run-down. A series of huge mirrors. Few, but essential bijoux. A plain and delicate make-up, a frizzy tied-up hair style which brings you back in time… “am antique baroness”, almost scared and dubious, but with that right amount of vanity and majesty, who loves to admire herself across those mirrors, but in turn what reflects back is her soul… or probably her numerous souls.

MASCULINE ALLURE

Come ho già scritto nei precedenti post, quest’anno in occasione della MFW, ho scelto di indossare outfit sobri, cool e per nulla appariscenti. Chi mi segue sa perfettamente che adoro “trasformarmi”, sperimentare nuovi mood e vedermi sempre diversa. Su questo non ho proprio cambiato idea (e credo di non farlo mai), ma preferisco “dedicare” questi  (come li chiamo io) “outfit pazzi” solo ed esclusivamente a shooting fotografici. Non trovo per nulla necessario e indispensabile  andare in giro e doversi per forza farsi notare con look  assurdi e ridicoli. In generale c’è – dal mio punto di vista – un forte desiderio di pulizia. Un ritorno a volumi e linee essenziali. La voglia probabilmente di “ritrovare quell’IO perduto”. Anche in quest’outfit -come in quello precedente-, ho voluto dare un’impronta quasi rigorosa ed essenziale. Ma sempre e comunque ironica e glam. Un look dall’allure tendenzialmente maschile, con equilibrati richiami agli anni ’80 ed accenti futuristici. Ho volutamente  “osato” con l’accostamento dei colori in contrasto blu cina e nero,  forse apparentemente azzardato, ma m’incuriosiva e divertiva l’idea 😉

As I have already written in past posts, in occasion of the MFW this year, I decided to wear sober, cool and inconspicuous outfits. Those who follow me, know that I adore to “transform” myself, experimenting with new moods and seeing myself continuously different. I haven’t changed my mind on this point of view (and I probably never will), but I prefer to “dedicate” these  “crazy outfits” (as I call them) to purely photographic shoots. I don’t particularly find it necessary or indispensable to go around to show oneself off with absurd and ridiculous looks. From my point of view, there is a huge need of a clean-up. A return to volume and clean cut lines. A desire to probably find that “lost ME”. In this outfit, as well as the last one, I wanted to give a rigorous and essential print. But always with a hint of irony and glam. A basically masculine allure look with an 80’s recall and some futuristic touches. I voluntarily “dared” with the combination of colours, contrasting China blue and black, maybe risky, but the idea seemed fun and intrigued me 😉

A DESIRE FOR BLACK AND WHITE

Una vaga ispirazione al celebre film Moonwalker di Micheal Jackson, la voglia di foto in bianco e nero. Look creato con pezzi scelti quasi a “caso”, nulla di eccessivamente studiato e programmato. Era un fresco sabato mattina… e io avevo semplicemente voglia di “vedermi così”.

Vaguely inspired by Michael Jackson’s well-known film Moonwalker, and the strong desire to take black and white photos. A look almost created by “chance”, nothing particularly researched or even programmed. It was a fresh Saturday morning… and I simply wanted to “see myself” in this way.

PINK OLIVIA LASER CUT BIKINI

Questo il secondo post/outfit dedicato ai meravigliosi bikini di Olivia. Quello che indosso è realizzato con una tecnica che amo tanto e che da qualche tempo è ritornata ad essere protagonista: il laser cut. Mi piace moltissimo l’abbinamento a fascia (internamente sostenuto de impercettibili ferretti anatomici). Un micro shorts in denim, un cappello in stile Borsalino, qualche bijoux e le favolose L.A.Trainer di Adidas Original – in esclusiva da Foot Locker – il modello simbolo delle Olimpiadi del ’84 riproposto con nuovi colori e materiali per un look super estivo. Così ho voluto interpretare questo delizioso e iper cool bikini Olivia Pink 100% Made in Italy.

This is the second post/outfit dedicated to the fabulous Olivia bikini. The one I’m wearing is made with a technique I really love and that has recently come back into fashion: the laser cut. I really like the combination of the strapless (held up entirely with anatomic underwires). A micro pair of denim shorts, a Borsalino style hat, a few bijoux and fabulous L.A.Trainers by Adidas Original, the design which is the symbol of the 1984 Olympics reproposed in new colours and fabrics for a very summer look. This is the way that I wanted to interpret this charming and extremely cool Olivia Pink 100% Made in Italy bikini.

A TRIP WITH MY BARK SAC

Protagonista assoluta di queste foto la mia meravigliosa shopping bag Bark. Da quando l’ho ricevuta, è stato immediatamente amore a prima vista. Dallo stile assolutamente unico, si distingue per originalità, “forza e carattere”. Una borsa che definirei “ di nicchia” dallo spirito country- metropolitano. Giovane e pratica, si adatta a svariati look e accontenta i gusti di tanti.

In queste foto “ho simulato” una gita in collina, creando un’outfit in linea al mood della borsa. Scenografia e ambientazione (dal mio punto di vista) congeniali, che rendono  giustizia alla shopping bag, il cui scopo fondamentale  è quello di comunicare  unicità e modernità a trecentosessanta gradi!

The main protagonist of these photos is my wonderful Bark shopping bag. It was love at first sight from the moment I received it. With an absolutely unique style, it distinguishes itself thanks to it’s “strength and character”. A bag that I’d define as “niche” with a country-metropolitan spirit. Young and practical, and it adapts to various different looks and satisfies everyones tastes.

In these photos I “simulated” a trip to the countryside, creating an outfit in line with the mood. Both setting and location (from my point of view) were suitable and gave justice to the bag, whose main aim is that to convey uniqueness and modernity at 360 degrees!
