Un meraviglioso sentiero che porta al mare, un panorama da perdere il fiato e un bikini. Tutto questo nella splendida Manarola. Stavolta un’ambientazione decisamente wild quella che abbiamo scelto per queste foto. Come essere “sospese” tra terra, mare e cielo, nel bel mezzo di una meravigliosa natura. Morbide, sbarazzine e romantiche  le rouches del bikini di White Rabbit Couture, svolazzano liberamente in questa “selvaggia” e indimenticabile brezza estiva.

A magnificent path that takes you to the sea, a breathtaking view and a bikini. All of this in the beautiful village of Manarola. This time we chose a decisively wild location for these photos. As though we were “suspended” between earth, sea and sky and in the very middle of nature. The ruffles on the White Rabbit Couture bikini are soft and romantic, and flutter freely in this “wild” and unforgettable summer breeze.

A TRIP WITH MY BARK SAC

Protagonista assoluta di queste foto la mia meravigliosa shopping bag Bark. Da quando l’ho ricevuta, è stato immediatamente amore a prima vista. Dallo stile assolutamente unico, si distingue per originalità, “forza e carattere”. Una borsa che definirei “ di nicchia” dallo spirito country- metropolitano. Giovane e pratica, si adatta a svariati look e accontenta i gusti di tanti.

In queste foto “ho simulato” una gita in collina, creando un’outfit in linea al mood della borsa. Scenografia e ambientazione (dal mio punto di vista) congeniali, che rendono  giustizia alla shopping bag, il cui scopo fondamentale  è quello di comunicare  unicità e modernità a trecentosessanta gradi!

The main protagonist of these photos is my wonderful Bark shopping bag. It was love at first sight from the moment I received it. With an absolutely unique style, it distinguishes itself thanks to it’s “strength and character”. A bag that I’d define as “niche” with a country-metropolitan spirit. Young and practical, and it adapts to various different looks and satisfies everyones tastes.

In these photos I “simulated” a trip to the countryside, creating an outfit in line with the mood. Both setting and location (from my point of view) were suitable and gave justice to the bag, whose main aim is that to convey uniqueness and modernity at 360 degrees!

MY OUTFIT FOR THE VANITY FAIR SMASHBOX PARTY

Un’ occasione davvero speciale, il meraviglioso party che Vanity Fair ha organizzato per festeggiare l’arrivo in Italia di Smashbox (notissimo make-up amato dalle Celebrities di Hollywood). Sull’invito c’era scritto: dress code long dress o in alternativa cocktail dress. Non capita proprio tutti i giorni di indossare un abito lungo. Per questo motivo ho deciso che era assolutamente l’occasione giusta per poter finalmente sfoggiare un favoloso long dress.

Nonostante l’abito fosse decisamente long e con uno spacco super impegnativo, ho fatto del mio meglio per non essere impacciata e sembrare più disinvolta possibile. E’ stato divertente immedesimarsi nel ruolo di star hollywoodiana. Come in un meraviglioso sogno, un sogno volato via in un batter d’occhio ma assolutamente prezioso e indimenticabile.

The fabulous party organised by Vanity Fair to celebrate the arrival of Smashbox to Italy (well-known make-up much loved by the Hollywood celebrities) was a truly special occassion. On the invitation was written: dress code long dress or cocktail dress. You don’t get to wear a long dress everyday. It is for this reason that I decided that it was the perfect occassion to fnally wear a beautful long dress.

Even though the dress was long with an extremely prominent split, I tried my best not to be clumsy and to appear as nonchalant as possible. It was fun putting myself in the shoes of a hollywood star. As though in a fabulous dream, the dream flew by in a split second, but truly unforgettable and exquisite.

Stavolta un’outfit “tutto Siciliano”, chiaramente e volutamente ispirato allo stile Dolce&Gabbana”, che della Sicilia ne hanno fatto il loro “punto di forza”.

Acitrezza suggestivo centro peschereccio in provincia di Catania (noto per il famoso romanzo I Malavoglia), è stata principale protagonista di queste foto.  La brezza di mare, i deliziosi profumi della frutta di stagione, il cielo azzurro, i meravigliosi colori tipici di questo periodo,  il “mitico” mandarino verde al limone (tipica bevanda dissetante a base di seltz, sale e mandarino ). Ogni vicolo, ogni angolo percorso  evoca strane e forti emozioni, gioia, maliconia… un tuffo nel passato, il mio vero passato, quello che rimarrà per sempre nel cuore!

This time an all Sicilian outfit, clearly chosen and intentionally inspired to the Dolce&Gabbana style, which has used Sicily as it’s focal point of strength.

Acitrezza, a striking fishing village is in the province of Catania and well-known for the famous novel I Malavoglia is the protagonist of these photos. The sea breeze, the sweet scents of seasonal fruits, the blue sky, the typical seasonal colours, the “legendary” green mandarin (typical thirst-quenching drink with seltz, salt and mandarin). Every alley, every corner, evokes strong and strange feelings, joy, melancholy… a jump back in the past, my true past, the one that will forever be in my heart!

Contrasti di colori forti e audaci come il blu, il viola e il turchese. Un outfit casual-chic, ideale per la mattina che s’ispira all’estetica pop, con qualche reminiscenza al mondo hippie. Facile, divertente ma soprattutto “terapeutico”, utile a ravvivare le grigie giornate invernali…. 😉

 

A contrast of bright and bold colours like blue, purple and turquoise. A casual-chic outfit, ideal for the mornings. Greatly inspired by the pop look, but with a hippie reminiscence. Easy, fun, but more importantly “therapeutic”, useful to revive those grey winter days…. 😉
