Un abito favoloso, necessita assolutamente di una location favolosa; è quasi come una regola matematica. Proprio per questo motivo quando ho pensato a quest’outfit, caratterizzato dall’abito iper fenmminile e iper chic della talentuosissima designer Lorella Signorino, mi è immediatamente venuto in mente un giardino, un luogo silenzioso, rilassante e magico. In realtà non ci è voluto molto tempo per trovarlo; quel luogo perfetto dove scattare le foto esisteva già! A pochi kilometri da pavia immersa in un grande parco nella tranquilla campagna dell’ Oltrepo’ Pavese, l’associazione Kriya Yoga era esattamente quello che cercavo. Conoscevo questo posto per sentito dire, ma non avevo avuto ancora modo di visitarlo. E’ proprio vero che certe discipline spirituali hanno proprio bisogno di luoghi come questo; luoghi mistici che ti invogliano a “perderti coi pensieri” a staccare, a meditare. Un connubio a mio parere perfetto, una romantica e poetica fusione, quella che si è involontariamente e naturalmente creata tra l’abito smanicato strech  dalla preziosa e ricercatissima stampa jacquard e questo meraviglioso e luminosissimo  porticato. Un tuffo nel passato, un’eleganza classica ma nel contempo attuale e contemporanea; un acconciatura “apparentemente retrò”, degli orecchini che sembrano quasi stai creati appositamente per l’abito e una dècolletè in suede giallo ocra, che crea quel “giusto stacco”. Questa la mia interpretazione, questa la mia visione….

A fabulous dress needs an absolutely fabulous location; it’s mathematical! It is for this precise reason that when I thought of this outfit, characterized by an extremely feminine and chic dress by the talented Lorella Signorino, a garden immediately sprung to mind, a silent, relaxing and magical place. It didn’t really take time to find it; the perfect place for the photo shoot already existed! The Kriya Yoga Association, a few kilometres from Pavia, immerged in an immense park in the tranquil Oltrepò Pavese countryside was exactly what I was looking for. I had already heard of this place by word of mouth, but hadn’t yet had the chance to visit it. It’s very true that certain spiritual disciplines need places such as these; mystical places that encourage you to “loose yourself in your thoughts”, to disconnect and meditate. I think it’s a perfect union, a romantic and poetic fusion, that which has involuntarily and naturally created between the sleeveless stretch jacquard printed dress and this magnificently illuminated porch. A jump in the past, a classical elegance but at the same time sctual and contemporary; an “apparently retrò” hairdo, earrings which seem to have been created specifically for the dress and a yellow-earth suede pair of dècolletè which creates that “perfect contrast”. This is my interpretation, this is my vision….

CHANEL “MULTICOLOR” MANICURE S/S 2014

Durante la presentazione Prèt à Porter Chanel Shopping Center Autunno-Inverno 2014-15 dello scorso 17 aprile, è stata riservata un’apposita area tutta dedicata al beauty; le mani, il colore, gli smalti e le nuove tendenze per questa primavera-estate 2014, sono stati i protagonisti del meraviglioso appuntamento dedicato a noi donne … rigorosamente firmato Chanel. Una perfetta manicure valorizzata da colori meravigliosi è quello che ogni donna  – dal mio personalissimo punto di vista- , non dovrebbe mai trascurare.

Mi sono state proposte diversi tipi di applicazione, dalle più classiche alle più trendy, ma poi alla fine insieme alla nail artist Alessandra, abbiamo optato per una manicure “tutta estiva” multicolor.

Dopo una veloce manicure – in realtà le mie manine erano praticamente apposto, l’applicazione degli smalti: bianco 613 eastern light, arancio 623 mirabella, tre tonalità di rosso partendo da quella accanto all’arancio: tutti frutti 621, coromandel 473, coromandel 475 dragon. Il risultato come potete vedere è davvero strabiliante; sarà perché adoro tutto ciò che è creativo e “fuori dalle righe”, sarà perché avevo proprio una grande voglia di colore, ma vi assicuro che questi smalti messi così in gradazione, mi hanno letteralmente conquistata.  Un’applicazione facile per tutti da realizzare a casa; glam, fresca e assolutamente unica, perfetta per questa stagione.

During the Autumn-Winter 2014-15 Prèt à Porter Chanel Shopping Centre presentation on the 17th April, an area was all dedicated for  beauty; hands, colour, nail varnishes and the new spring-summer 2014 trends. These were the wonderful protagonists dedicated to us women… rigorously Chanel. A perfect manicure enhanced by magnificent colours is what every woman -from my point of view- should never neglect.

A selection of different applications were proposed, from the more classic to the trendiest, but at the end, together with the nail artist Alessandra, opted for an “all summer” multicolour manicure.

After a quick manicure -in actual fact, my hands were alright, with the application of white 613 eastern light, orange 623 mirabella, three shades of red starting with the one next to the orange: tutti frutti 621, coromandel 473, coromandel 475 dragon. As you can see, an astounding outcome; maybe it’s because I love everything which is creative and “out of the norm”, maybe it’s because I longed for colour, but I can assure you that these nail varnishes applied in a gradual way, won me over. An easy application for everyone which you can also do at home; glam, fresh and absolutely unique, perfect for every season.

Il mio animo è decisamente rock ; prediligo gli outfit  fuori dalle righe e di sperimentazione.  Adoro mixare stili e tendenze, mantenendo sempre e comunque il mio gusto e la mia personalità, le mie ispirazioni sono influenzate tantissimo dallo stato d’animo del momento, quando creo un outfit lascio “sfogare” liberamente le mie emozioni e le mie sensazioni; non ho “regole fisse e precise”.   Per questa stagione la salopette è ritornata di grande tendenza, come non approfittarne e dedicarle un outfit?! Quella che indosso è in morbidissima pelle;  glam e “trasgressiva” al punto giusto.  Accenti pop nel colore arancione – colore che rappresenta per antonomasia  la solarità, l’energia e la gioia di vivere- ,  maxi occhiali , favolosi pendenti, importanti sandali oro,  e una semplicissima treccia laterale.

My soul is decisively rock; I prefer out of the normal and experimental outfits. I adore mixing styles and trends, always keeping my taste and personality however. My inspirations are influenced greatly by my mood and when I create an outfit I let me feelings and emotions escape. I don’t have “fixed or precise rules”. Dungarees have made a come back this season. How can I not take advantage and dedicate an outfit to them?! The one I am wearing is in soft leather; glam and “transgressive” to the right point. An accent of pop in the colour orange – a colour which represents radiance, energy and the joy of living-, big sunglasses, fabulous pendants, an important pair of gold sandals and a simple side plait.

HANITA, NUOVE EMOZIONI FATATE

Se esistesse la categoria “emozioni”, questo post andrebbe sicuramente li… Si perché più che essere un post outfit lo definirei senza pensarci due volte un post emozionale. Ventidue marzo, Valverde -Ct- , parco della Chiesa sconsacrata; una perfetta e splendida giornata primaverile, di quelle che ti abbracciano e ti coccolano che ti fanno sentire come immersa nel mondo dei sogni e delle fiabe. Un lungo, leggiadro e coloratissimo abito, una meravigliosa acconciatura e dei sandali gioiello. Fin qui sembrerebbe tutto nella norma e negli schemi. Ma la cosa più importante e che fa la differenza in questi scatti sono i fotografi; si proprio così, perché a scattarmi le foto stavolta c’erano due persone: Maurizio Fragalà e Gaetano La Spada. Entrambi siciliani. Maurizio mio carissimo amico dai tempi del liceo è un vero e proprio artista, con l’amico Massimo Fichera ha dato vita da un paio di anni fa a MF ARTCRETAOR. Insieme creano gioielli, oggettistica e accessori moda, tutto rigorosamente hand made e ispirato alle tradizioni e alle origini siciliane. Dico solo che sono favolosi e assolutamente unici nel loro genere. Mauri da artista qual è si diletta anche nell’hobby della fotografia. Gaetano La Spada – amico da tempo di Maurizio- non lo conoscevo prima che “apparisse improvvisamente” con il suo maxi zaino iper tecnico e super accessoriato nel parco del Monastero della vecchia sconsacrata; si occupa in particolar modo di video riprese e la fotografia è il suo secondo lavoro. In Sicilia e non solo è un nome noto. Due persone, due anime…. due modi totalmente diversi di interpretare la fotografia. Per me è stato decisamente strano essere “catturata” contemporaneamente da “quattro occhi”: un vecchio amico con il quale esiste già un rapporto confidenziale e da un “estraneo”, espertissimo fotografo. Sono sempre stata abituata -a parti rarissimi casi- ad essere fotografata da Marcella, con lei sono abituata e sicura, so come mi vede, come mi “vuole”, ma vi assicuro che mettersi davanti a due obiettivi “nuovi” – quello di Gaetano era un mostro di obiettivo, che quasi mi faceva paura- è veramente tanto diverso, come se fosse quasi la prima volta. Si, devo ammettere che all’inizio ero un bel po’ tesa, ma poi è andato tutto nel verso giusto….Mi sono lasciata totalmente andare ,ho lasciato fare, non ho pensato e sono stata più naturale che potevo…. In questi scatti io, con due chiare e diverse interpretazioni ed emozioni…

If a “to be touched” category existed, this post would definitely go there… because more than being an outfit, I wish classify this post more of a touching one. Twentysecond of March, Valverde (CT), the park of a deconsecrated Church; a perfectly springlike day, one of those which embraces you and makes you feel as though you’re in a fairytale dreamy world. A long, graceful and colourful dress, a breathtaking hairstyle and bejeweled sandals. Till here, everything seems in the norm. But the most important thing of all and that truly makes the difference in these snapshots are the photographers; exactly so because this time round there were two people taking the photos: Maurizio Fragalà and Gaetano La Spada. Both Siciclian. Maurizio, my dearest friend from my school days is truly an artist, along with his friend Massimo Fichera gave life to MF ARTCREATOR a few years ago. Together they create jewels, objects and fashion accessories, all rigourously handmade and inspired to the Sicilian traditions.  I can only say that they are fabulous and absolutely unique in their genre. Mauri as an artist also amuses himself with photography. Gaetano La Spada –Maurizio’s lifelong friend- whom I didn’t know before “appeared all of a sudden” the deconsecrated Monastery’s Park with a huge rucksack full of high tech and accessories. He primarily films videos but his second job is that of a photographer. His name is well-known throughout Sicily but not only. Two people, two souls… two completely different ways of interpreting photography. It was particularly strange to be “snapped” by four eyes: an old friend with whom I have a lifelong friendship and a “stranger”, an expert photographer. I have always been used to –apart from some very isolated cases- to be photographed by Marcella; with her I’m safe and secure, I know how she sees me, how she “wants” me, but I can assure you that being infront of twp “new” lenses – Gaetano’s one was huge which almost terrified me, is really very different, as though it was all for the very first time. I must admit that at the beginning I was a little nervous, but then it all seemed to go in the right direction…I let myself go completely, I let them do their thing, I didn’t think much and hence I was as natural as possible… Here I am in these photos with two very clear and different interpretations and emotions…
