Ospiti dell’Hotellerie di Mascognaz,a 2mila metri vicino a Champoluc,abbiamo trascorso una giornata bellissima con vista sul Monte Rosa, a strapiombo sulla Val D’Ayas. Mescognaz è un borgo del ‘300 fatto da qualche casetta, una chiesa, un forno e una fattoria, e ci si può arrivare solo a piedi e con la motoslitta grazie al personale dell’Hotellerie che vi viene a prendere e vi accompagna a destinazione. Ecco le foto che abbiamo fatto nell’ex fienile,ora trasformato nella Suite Monte Rosa tra pietre,legno,caminetti e piumini in pelliccia caldissimi.
L’interno può ospitare 4 persone e nello Chalet vicino potete recuperare le energie tra sauna, bagno turco e idromassagio…a disposizione anche  il delizioso ristorante Lo Peyo per degustare i piatti valdostani,in un tipico rescard ristrutturato del 1600.

Guests at the Hotellerie de Mascognaz, 2000 metres from champonac, and sitated on a precipice of Valle D’Ayas, we spend a beautiful day admiring the view of Monterosa.Madcognaz is a small village from the 1300’s with few houses, a church, a bakers and a farm. You can only get there on foot and with a snow mobile thanks to the hotellier staff who come to collect you and take you to your destination. here are the photos that we took in the old hay loft now transformed into the Monterosa suite; surrounded by stones, wood, fire places and warm fur duvets.It can accomodate four people and in the nearby chalet you can relax in the sauna turkish bath and hydromassage… also available is a delicious restaurant Lopayo to taste the local valdostani delicacies in a typical rescard refurbished in the 1600’s.
