LA STANZA DEGLI SPECCHI “LONTANI”…

Ancora un post-outfit romantico e sognante, nel quale predominano “decisi” e intensi colori pastello. Una specie di fiaba dallo spirito moderno e contemporaneo. Una bellissima villa dei primi del ‘900, una stanza spoglia, “lontana” e quasi fatiscente. Una serie di grandissimi specchi. Pochi bijoux, ma essenziali. Un make-up sobrio e delicato, un’acconciatura – frisè raccolto-, che riporta indietro nel tempo… “un’antica baronessa”, per certi versi impaurita e dubbiosa, ma con quel giusto pizzico di imponenza e vanità, che ama ammirarsi tra quegli specchi, nei quali poi a riflettersi è la sua anima…o probabilmente le sue innumerevoli anime.

Another romantic and dreamy post, in which the “decisive” and intense pastel colours  prevail. A type of fairytale with a modern and contemporary twist. A beautiful villa from the 900’s, a bare room, “far away” and almost run-down. A series of huge mirrors. Few, but essential bijoux. A plain and delicate make-up, a frizzy tied-up hair style which brings you back in time… “am antique baroness”, almost scared and dubious, but with that right amount of vanity and majesty, who loves to admire herself across those mirrors, but in turn what reflects back is her soul… or probably her numerous souls.

Nata in una famiglia di artisti, Simona  – che nel suo curriculum vanta anche una collaborazione lavorativa con il gruppo Damiani nel reparto creativo-  ha fatto della sua grande passione, un vero e proprio lavoro.  La sua ispirazione nasce dalla concezione di gioiello come ornamento,  i suoi bijoux sono speciali e non devono passare inosservati. I gioielli may mOma sono “morbidi, leggeri”, creati appositamente per suscitare la voglia di essere toccati e indossati. Gioielli versatili, preziosi  e scintillanti -grazie all’uso dei cristalli Swarovski-  adatti ad una donna attiva, contemporanea e alla ricerca del buon gusto. I materiali che usa Simona sono completamente made in Italy; sete, cotoni e frange provengono da note aziende di Como  – luogo rinomato e conosciuto in tutto il mondo per l’alta qualità dei tessuti prodotti- . Ogni singolo pezzo viene accuratamente lavorato e seguito da espertissimi artigiani italiani, saldatori e specializzate sarte ricamatrici. La collezione ss2014 è suddivisa in tre mood principali: Glamour Collection: gli immancabili bianchi e i neri per una collezione elegante e senza tempo, Romantic Collection: tonalità pastello dei rosa e dei cipria per un look intensamente femminile, Color block Collection: tocchi di giallo, verde e turchese per interpretare il lato più vitaminico della collezione.

Born into a family of artists, Simona -who in her CV boasts a working collaboration with the Damiani group- made a true and proper job from her huge passion. Her inspirations comes from her concept that a jewel is like an ornament, that her bijoux are special and must never go unnnoticed. The may mOma  jewels are “soft and lightweight”, made especially to create a desire to touch and wear them. Versatile, precious and shiny jewels, thanks to the use of Swarovski crystals. They are apt for an active, contemporary woman, on the look out for good taste. The materials which Simona uses are completely Made in Italy; silks, cottons and tassles which come from a well-known company in Como- renowned place known around the entire world for the high quality of its fabrics. Each single piece is carefully worked and closely followed by expert Italian craftsmen, welders and specialist embroidery tailors. MIA’S PARTY @ LA CAPANNINA FORTE DEI MARMI

Ad un anno dalla nascita degli ormai famosissimi braccialetti con le ancore “Love boat” di MIA’s, i creatori-ideatori del brand hanno organizzato la terza tappa del tour (dopo Milano e Firenze) in una delle località balneari più frequentate e  in voga del Tirreno: Forte dei Marmi.

La Capannina – uno dei locali più esclusivi e storici d’Italia – la location del meraviglioso party di MIA’s. Un red carpet perfetto con tanto di tabellone da super star, una deliziosa cena rigorosamente a base di pesce, bellissima gente e braccialetti MIA’s ovunque hanno colorato e rallegrato questa bellissima serata. Ma non è tutto; proprio sabato Jerry Calà  mito storico della commedia italiana, ha festeggiato il suo sessantaduesimo compleanno. L’attore-showman si è esibito in tutto il suo splendore, regalando a tutti i presenti un repertorio di canzoni davvero sensazionali. Un piacevolissimo tuffo nel passato e tanti bei ricordi.

Un party davvero esclusivo, unico e pensato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Grazie MIA’s, La Capannina e grazie a tutta la bellissima gente che abbiamo avuto il piacere di incontrare!

A year on from the day that they were born, the creators of  MIA’s famous “Love Boat” bracelets with an anchor organised their third tour stop (after Milan and Florence) in one of the most well-known seaside locations: Forte dei Marmi.

La Capannina – one of the most exclusive and historic places in Italy – was the fabulous location for MIA’s party. A red carpet event with super star touches, a delicious fish-based dinner, beautiful people and where MIA’s bracelets happily coloured the evening. But this was not all. Jerry Calà, famous Italian comedian celebrated his sixty-second birthday too that evening. The actor-showman exhibited himself in his full glory, singing a senastional repetoire for everyone. A delightful dive into the past and fond memories.

A really exclusive party, unique and careful attention to detail. Thank you MIA’s, La Capannina and thanks to all the beautiful people whom I had the pleasure of meeting!

LADUREE FABRICANT DE DOUCERS

 Rappresenta senza dubbio il pasticcino più chic, cool e alla moda degli ultimi tempi… proprio lui: il macaron. Caratterizzato da due delicatissimi e morbidissimi gusci – ottenuti da una miscela di albume d’uovo, farina di mandorle e zucchero a velo – farciti da marmellate o creme particolari, il noto dolcetto ha origini antichissime. Si racconta infatti, che la Regina Maria Antonietta ne fosse golosissima.  La vera origine dei macarons si fa risalire all’ VIII secolo, quando fecero la loro prima apparizione nelle cucine dei monasteri veneziani; solamente otto secoli più tardi arrivarono in Francia. Ma fu senza nessun dubbio merito di Ernest Ladurèe  far crescere notevolmente e diffondere  la notorietà dei deliziosi pasticcini. Nel 1862, in uno dei quartieri più chic di Parigi, si nascondeva una bellissima panetteria, trasformata circa un decennio dopo in una pasticceria che divenne nel giro di pochissimo tempo luogo raffinatissimo e di enorme successo. Il locale si è tramandato di generazione in generazione, fino a quando negli anni ‘90 venne rilevato dai discendenti David e Franis Holder. Sono stati proprio loro ad avere la grandiosa idea di portare “fuori” Parigi gli ormai famosissimi dolcetti. Ad oggi i punti vendita Ladurèe sono presenti in tantissime parti del mondo: Turchia, Inghilterra, Monaco, Svizzera, Lussemburgo, Emirati Arabi, Giappone, Italia. E naturalmente si sono moltiplicati anche in Francia. Dopo questo breve, ma importante cenno storico, teletrasportiamoci a Milano, in Via Spadari. Proprio qui infatti si trova la meravigliosa boutique Ladurèe, nella quale siamo state gentilmente ospitate per realizzare questo servizio. Una location che ci riporta indietro nel tempo, delicatamente e “modernamente” retrò. I  macarons dagli inconfondibili colori pastello “arredano” e profumano il locale, anch’esso caratterizzato da colori tenui, dolci e rilassanti. La sensazione è quella di trovarsi all’interno di una casa delle bambole dei primi del ‘900. L’abito che indossavo era a dir poco perfetto per il contesto: il modello e i colori sembravano quasi fondersi con tutto il resto…

Tra uno scatto e l’altro, ho avuto il grande piacere di degustare e naturalmente apprezzare la bontà di alcuni dei nuovi gusti: menta-fragola e yuzu-zenzero… assolutamente divini!  Ma la scelta è davvero ampia. I macarons si possono infatti  trovare nei gusti di vaniglia, pistacchio, fiori d’arancio, un paio di versioni di cioccolato, melone, lampone e ancora tantissimi altri. Ma non solo, qui potete assaggiare anche deliziosi cioccolatini, “fruttose” gelatine e un golosissimo gelato.  Un mondo incantato, fatato, fiabesco, inimitabile… semplicemente Ladurèe!

It represents probably one of the chicest, coolest, most fashionable cake ever……a macaron. Characterized by two very delicate and soft shells – made with a mixture of egg white, almond flour and caster sugar – and filled with either jam or cream, the well-known sweet has antique origins. The story tells of how Queen Marie Antoniette was gluttonous. The macaron dates back to the VIII century, when they first made an appearance in the kitchens of Venetian monasteries. Just eight centuries later did they arrive in France. It was thanks to Ernest Laudurèe who made these little cakes so well-known. In 1862, in one of the chicest areas in Paris, a beautiful bakery hid, and a decade later was transformed, in no time, into an elegant and successful patisserie. The place has been handed down to generations, until the 1990’s when it was taken over by the heirs David and Franis Holder. It was their idea to take these famous little sweets “out” of Paris. Today there are many Ladurèe shops in many parts of the world: Turkey, England, Monaco, Switzerland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Italy. And obviously in France they have multiplied. After this brief but important historical insight, let’s teletransport ourselves to Milan, to Via Spadari. It is here that you find the magnificent Ladurèe boutique, where we were kindly hosted in order to photograph this shoot. A location that takes us back in time into a delicate and quite modern retro. The uniquely pastel coloured macarons “furnish” and fragrance the boutique, this too characterized with faint and relaxing colours. It feels like you’re inside a 1900’s dolls house.  The dress that I was wearing was simply perfect for the context in which I found myself: the design and the colour seemed to blend in with all the rest…..

Between one shot amd the other, I had the great pleasure of tasting and appreciating the goodness of some of the newer flavours: strawberry-mint and yuzu-ginger….absolutely divine! The choice is wide. You can find the macarons in vanilla, pistachio, orange blossom, various chocolate versions, melon, raspberry flavor, and many more. Here you can also taste some delciocios chocolates, “fruity” jelly sweets and ice-cream. An enchanted, fairy-tale, inimitable world…..simply Ladurèe!

Un’outfit dallo spirito rock-street, ma pochi dettagli “luccicanti” (le paillettes del basco, gli strass del collarino di May Moma, i cristalli del bracciale Gioielli La Fata) regalano al look qualche accento chic. I meravigliosi  e comodissimi jeans push-up Fornarina Perfect Shape si adattano perfettamente a questo stile.
