Protagonista assoluta di queste foto la mia meravigliosa shopping bag Bark. Da quando l’ho ricevuta, è stato immediatamente amore a prima vista. Dallo stile assolutamente unico, si distingue per originalità, “forza e carattere”. Una borsa che definirei “ di nicchia” dallo spirito country- metropolitano. Giovane e pratica, si adatta a svariati look e accontenta i gusti di tanti.

In queste foto “ho simulato” una gita in collina, creando un’outfit in linea al mood della borsa. Scenografia e ambientazione (dal mio punto di vista) congeniali, che rendono  giustizia alla shopping bag, il cui scopo fondamentale  è quello di comunicare  unicità e modernità a trecentosessanta gradi!

The main protagonist of these photos is my wonderful Bark shopping bag. It was love at first sight from the moment I received it. With an absolutely unique style, it distinguishes itself thanks to it’s “strength and character”. A bag that I’d define as “niche” with a country-metropolitan spirit. Young and practical, and it adapts to various different looks and satisfies everyones tastes.

In these photos I “simulated” a trip to the countryside, creating an outfit in line with the mood. Both setting and location (from my point of view) were suitable and gave justice to the bag, whose main aim is that to convey uniqueness and modernity at 360 degrees!

Stavolta una location davvero affascinante ha fatto da cornice a questo outfit  “pazzamente cool”.  In realtà quel giorno ci trovavamo li per un appuntamento, ma poi  visto la meraviglia di posto (che ci ha particolarmente ispirate), abbiamo chiesto se potevamo “approfittarne” per scattare qualche foto. La biblioteca della moda, un vero paradiso per tutti gli addetti ai lavori e non solo. Un grande archivio privato nel quale poter consultare, ma anche vendere o acquistare libri, riviste, stampe, quaderni di tendenza dal 1850 a oggi.

“Piume e libri”, così ho voluto chiamare questo post. Look decisamente street style, “strambo e frizzante”, ma che si fonde perfettamente con l’arredamento raffinato ed elegante che lo rappresenta.

This time a fascinating location was the set for this “crazily cool” outfit. To be honest, we found ourselves there that day because we had an appointment, but then I saw the wonders of the place (which immensely inspired us) and we asked if we could take advantage and snap a few photos. The fashion library, a true paradise for its workers, but not only for them. An immense archive in which to look up, but also buy and sell books, magazines, newspapers, trendy books from 1850 up until today.

“Feathers and books” is what I wanted to call this post. A decisively street style look, eccentric and fizzy, but which blends in perfectly with the elegant and sophisticated furniture.

PSYCHEDELIC MOOD

 La parola psichedelico, ci fa immediatamente tornare indietro nel tempo, ricordandoci la musica rock-psicadelica  degli anni sessanta-settanta , sviluppatasi contemporaneamente negli Stati Uniti e in Gran Bretagna. Per quest’outfit, mi sono proprio ispirata a quel periodo. Le sensazioni e le percezioni sono alterate da qualcosa di indefinibile, qualcosa profondamente custodito nella psiche. I colori sono il punto di forza, “colori mentali”, quasi come un sogno..un sogno psichedelico che improvvisamente affiora e si materializza.

The word psychedelic immediately takes us back in time, evoking memories of rock-psychedelic  music from the sixties and seventies, which developed at the same time in both Great Britain and the United States. For this outfit, I inspired myself to this period. The sensations and perceptions are altered by something indefinable, something deeply gaurded by the pysche. The colours are the point of strength, “mental colours”, as though they were a dream..a psychedelic dream which suddenly blossoms and becomes real.

Nuance naturali e delicate, “tocchi d’oro”, il tutto impreziosito da sobri dettagli gioiello come le mini borchie del giubbotto smanicato effetto “used” e i ricami di paillettes sui sandali T pump. Un look che definirei rock-bohemienne che si fonde perfettamente con i colori delle pareti della meravigliosa Casa del Manzoni 😉

Natural and delicate nuance, a touch of gold and it is all embellished with small details like the mini studs on the sleeveless “used-effect” jacket and the embroidery of sequins on the T pump sandals. A look that I’d define as rock-bohemian which blends in perfectly with the colours of the walls at the magnificent Casa del Manzoni 😉

La sposa Illuminata.

Dall’incontro delle sculture luminose di Marco Lodola e dei bouquet prodotti e realizzati da Ludovica Febbroni di V as Love, nasce TEARDROP il bouquet che unisce arte, design e moda e che accompagna la donna durante il momento più importante della sua vita.

TEARDROP, la lacrima luminosa, è la concretizzazione del punto luce che ogni sposa desidera  e indossa durante il giorno delle sue nozze. Dalla ricerca della brillantezza nasce quindi l’idea di un bouquet luminoso, novità assoluta e mai realizzata nell’ambito del wedding.

Un ricordo del giorno delle nozze. Un bouquet che non si lancia e non appassisce e che rimarrà per sempre testimone del ‘sì, lo voglio!’.

The Illuminated Bride.

From Marco Lodola’s luminous sculptures and Ludovica Febbroni’s  V as Love bouquets, TEARDROP is born. The bouquet which brings art, design and fashion together, and which will accompany the bride during one of the most important moments in her life.

TEARDROP is the objectification of every bride’s wish, which she uses on her wedding day. From the continuous search for something sparkly, the illuminous bouquet is hence born, an absolute novelty and never quite achieved in the world of weddings.

A reminder of your wedding day. A bouquet which you don’t throw and which doesn’t wilt, but will always be a memory of that “Yes, I do!”.
