L’eccesso dell’accessorio

Estate 2012: in voga, accessori colorati, allegri e leggeri..ma per carità, evitiamo di diventare noi “gli accessori di noi stesse”. 
A favore di quelli che esaltano e valorizzano un outfit semplice, contraria a tutto ciò che trasformi una persona in un albero di Natale…perché, ultimamente, è facile incontrare donne capaci di abbinare accessori di varia natura e genere nella convinzione di apparire originali, stravaganti e “alla moda”. Il troppo storpia in tutto, anche in questo caso. 
Un abbigliamento impeccabile può facilmente essere demolito se accostato ad accessori pacchiani e numericamente esagerati. 
Quindi, il consiglio che posso dare è quello di selezionare sapientemente il semplice bracciale/anello/collana, perché la scelta determinerà la riuscita o il fallimento del vostro outfit… 
E se poi non riuscite a resistere alla tentazione di agghindarvi esponendo tutto ciò che possedete nel vostro “scrigno delle meraviglie”, vi dico che Natale ogni anno arriva…e che potreste essere un alberello molto originale..ah, naturalmente, non dimenticatevi delle lucine colorate…quelle sì che sono proprio fashion!

Summer 2012: in vogue, colourful, lightweight and fun accessories… but for goodness sake, let’s try to avoid becoming “accessories of ourselves”.
I’m all for those which enhance a simple outfit, but contrary to all those accessories that manage to make you look like a “christmas tree”…because lately it is easy to meet women who are capable of mixing and matching all sorts of accessories convinced they look cool, extravagant and fashionable. The over the top element ruins it all in this case.
An impeccable outfit can easily be ruined if matched alongside numerously exaggerated and outrageous accessories.
Therefore the advice that I can give, is to wisely choose a simple bracelet/ring/necklace because the choice will determine the success or the failure of your outfit…and if you just can’t resist grabbing and wearing absolutely everything you have in your treasure chest, I’ll enlighten you with the fact that Christmas comes once a year
…and that you could be a delightful tree. Ah and don’t forget the Christmas lights which are obviously really fashionable!

MY PR SHOWROOM

Qualche settimana fa, sono andata a visitare lo showroom MY PR. Un meraviglioso spazio luminosissimo in Via Ripamonti a Milano; dove, tra oggetti di arredamento,  la calorosissima accoglienza di tutto lo staff, ho pututo visionare in totale relax i campionari proposti dei vari clienti.
Decisamente casual ( ma anche un pò chic) i brand presenti nello spazio. Prevalgono infatti boots, sneakers e ballerine, insomma calzature comode, perfette per il tempo libero e per lunghe passeggiate. Tra i marchi: Crocs, Le Fool (brand made in Italy ed ecofriendly, sneakers di lusso, giovani, unisex e particolarmente attento alle ultime tendenze) e Colors of California. Non mancano gli  accessori, come gli originalissimi orologi Noon Copenhagen, che cambiano quadrante a seconda del movimento delle lancette.
Glitter, borchie e teschi, saranno ancora un must have. Ma anche boots stile “Tirolo”, ideali per week end di relax da trascorrere in montagna.

An incredibly bright openspace in Via Ripamonte in Milan, where amongst home furnishings, numerous clients sample collections and the warm welcoming by all the staff, you are guaranteed moments of complete relax. The brands within are decisively casual (but also quite chic). Comfortable footwear, such as boots, sneakers and pumps prevail, perfect for free time and long walks. Amongst the brands are Crocs, Le Fool (ecofriendly and brand Made in Italy, luxury, young and unisex sneakers with great attention to the latest colours) and Colors of California. Accessories are also present, like
the original Noon Copenhagen watches whose facedial colour changes depending on the movement of the hands. Glitter, studs and skulls continue to be a must-have, as do “tyrol” style boots, perfect for a relaxing weekends in the mountains. Here are some of the designs that will accompany us during the autumn-winter 2012-2013 season.

DOTGIRL FOR ICE ICEBERG F/W 2012-13

Un paio di settimane fa, sono stata “convocata” nello showroom di Iceberg per scegliere qualche capo della collezione Ice-Iceberg A-I 2012-2013 da usare per i miei outfit. Una vera meraviglia! Davanti a me, un’infinità di vestiti, scarpe, borse e accessori di ogni genere. Avevo in mente da un po’ di tempo di realizzare un mood “garcons” in chiave contemporanea e ultra femminile. Ed ecco il “mio” completo, quello che cercavo, che assolutamente volevo indossare, formato da tre pezzi: giacca dalla linea slim, camicia con grandi rouches centrali e pantalone morbido. Purtroppo non ho potuto fare un total look, abbinando anche le scarpe, perchè quelle disponibili erano evidentemente troppo grandi per il mio piedino 🙁
Un’ acconciatura da maschietto, rossetto rosso e sandali con fiocco ricoperto di Swarovski, a completare il meraviglioso outfit Ice Iceberg.
La mia scelta in showroom, comprende anche altri splendidi capi, che presto scoprirete nei prossimi post.
Intanto per cominciare ecco il mio primo look per Ice Iceberg, in versione Garcons 😉 !!A few weeks ago I was invited to the Iceberg showroom to choose some outfits from the 2012-13 Autumn-Winter collection. Absolutely amazing! Infront of my eyes were endless clothes, shoes, bags and accessories of every kind. I had already had in mind to recreate a “garcons” mood but with a more contemporary and ultra feminine touch. And here is my outfit. Exactly what I was looking for and what I really wanted to wear. It is made up of three pieces; a slimline jacket, a shirt with big ruffles down the middle and flimsy trousers. Unfortunately I couldn’t complete the look with the shoes because those available were far too big for my little feet 🙁 A boyish hairstyle, red lipstick and sandals with a bow completely covered in Swarovski finished off my amazing Ice Iceberg look.
My choices of clothes in the showroom also include other wonderful outfits which you’ll soon see on my forthcoming posts.
In the meantime he is my first look for Ice Icerberg in a Garcons version 😉 !!

La collezione, intitolata ‘Esprit RCA Limited Edition’, celebra la creatività e rispecchia il costante impegno del marchio verso la sostenibilità. Da questa nuova partnership traspare tutta la fiducia che Esprit ripone nei nuovi talenti emergenti, combinando le capacità di tre studenti dell’RCA con la sua esperienza, per creare un’unica straordinaria capsule collection per l’AI 2012-13.
I tre candidati selezionati sono i futuri designer Ryan Mercer, Rachael Hall e Julia Mackenroth; le loro creazioni diventeranno vere e proprie collezioni ed Esprit sarà la piattaforma globale dalla quale verranno lanciate.

Esprit, an international lifestyle brand, presents its second collection in collaboration with the Royal College of Art in London. The collection which is entitled “Esprit RCA Limited Edition” celebrates its creativity and mirrors the brands constant support towards sustaining good causes. Esprit’s faith in new emerging talents is what transpires from this partnership, combining the creativity of the three of RCA’s students with its own experience, in order to create an extraordinary, unique AI 2012-13 capsule collection.
The three selected candidates are the future designers Ryan Mercer, Rachael Hall e Julia Mackenroth; their designs will become real collections and Esprit will be the platform from which they will be launched.

I prezzi vanno dai 39 ai 299 Euro

The “Esprit RCA Limited Edition” includes jumpers, cardigans, coats, trousers and shirts, and will be presented mid September 2012 in the new concept store on Regent Street London. It will be available in 11 selected Esprit worldwide stores and on Esprit’s e-shop. Prices will range between 39 and 299 euro.

Con la fotografia si possono liberamente esprimere sensazioni, stati d’animo, cogliere ciò che ci colpisce di più’, immortalare per sempre i momenti più speciali, quelli che non vorremmo mai dimenticare. La fotografia “parla di noi”. Con un semplice click! Quando ancora la comunicazione web non era così diffusa, si andava a fare stampare le fotografie dal fotografo di fiducia, per poi raccoglierle in enormi album. Sicuramente andare a sfogliare i vecchi album e rivedersi bambini mentre speganavamo la calendelina del nostro primo compleanno ha tutt’ora un fascino unico e incredibile. Purtroppo o per fortuna tante cose sono cambiate: i ritmi di vita, le abitudini, il lavoro e il tempo a disposizione è sempre meno, per questo motivo Pinspire (comunity internazionale di photosharing http://www.pinspire.it/?cid=12305) ha pensato di creare dei veri e propri album virtuali per poter condividere con gli altri utenti le immagini che ci piacciono di più, dare consigli sull’ “outfit perfetto”, la città che abbiamo appena visitato o una nuova ricetta sperimentata. Questo e molto altro ancora, è possibile creando album per tema. Organizzare e condividere diventa così molto più semplice, veloce e soprattutto ordinato.
Ma la vera novità che differenzia Pinspire da altri siti di photosharing, è la nuova “opzione stella”.
