La notte degli oscar rappresenta ancora oggi il tappeto rosso più ambito del mondo,  la “vera passerella” delle star; la serata nella quale esibire al meglio look mozzafiato, acconciature e make- up strepitosi, il perfetto connubio:  dall’aspetto estetico-scenografico, a quello artistico e professionale. Insomma un vero sogno per tutti i partecipanti in gara e non solo! Il brand francese di make-up, Make Up For Ever (la cui casa madre si trova a Parigi), in occasione dell’appena passata notte degli Oscar (24 febbraio 2013) ha pensato e dedicato, presso il noto store  Sephora di Milano in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, un pomeriggio all’insegna del glamour e della bellezza.

L’evento-work-shop è iniziato con una breve storia della mitica statuetta: l’ Oscar. Alta circa 35 cm e placcata in oro 24 carati, il suo prezzo commerciale è davvero “low cost”, solo 295 dollari…incredibile, eh? A seguire  una serie di immagini mostrateci da una delle esperte di trucco sulle “storiche” e imperdonabili  cadute di stile delle celebrities  durante la notte più “luccicosa”dell’anno!

Dopo una breve presentazione di noi ragazze presenti all’evento, ecco che inizia il vero e proprio sogno. Per prima cosa ci cambiamo e indossiamo gli abiti che ognuna di noi ha deciso di portare da casa. Io ho optato per un abito “datato”, (ma  sempre attualissimo) di Emporio Armani e pump a T di Giuseppe Zanotti Design.

Inizia la fase trucco, tra sorseggi di champagne e deliziosi stuzzichini, la “mia” make-up artist decide uno smoking eye  che ricorda gli anni ’30 (in perfetto mood con l’abito scelto), a seguire una meravigliosa e raffinatissima acconciatura a banana.

Ed eccomi magicamente trasformata  in una vera e propria star da red carpet, quasi facevo fatica a riconoscermi! Non poteva mancare la foto singola e di gruppo con le altre ragazze (una più bella dell’altra) e la mitica statuetta (chiaramente copia dell’originale). Il tempo è letteralmente volato e, si sa che i sogni hanno breve durata, ma catapultarsi nel vero senso della parola nel tanto amato e desiderato mondo del cinema è stato a dir poco “fantameraviglioso”…  😉

The night of the Oscars, still represents for many, the most yearned for red carpet in the world, the “real catwalk” of the stars. The night on which to show off your most breathtaking look, hairstyle and outstanding make-up. The perfect union between aesthetic appearance and an artistic and professional one. Hence  a dream for all those who take part in the race for the award, but not only! The French brand Make Up, Make Up For Ever (whose headoffice is based in Paris) in occasion of the recently viewed Oscars on the 24^th of February 2013, thought up and dedicated an afternoon to glamour and beauty at the well-known Sephora Store in Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Milan.

The event_workshop started with a brief insight into the famous statue, or more importantly known as the Oscar. About 35cm tall and 24 carat gold plated, it’s commercial value is extremely low-cost. It retails at just 295 dollars…. Incredible, right? A series of photos were later shown to us by the expert make-up artists showing the celebrities unforgiveable style-disasters during the glitziest night of the year!

After a brief presentation of us girls present at the event, the dream began. Firstly they change us and we wore the outfits which each one of us chose to bring from home. I chose a dated dress (but always very modern) by Emporio Armani and T-shaped shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti Design.

Then the make-up phase started between one sip of champagne and another, and some delicious snacks. My make-up artist opted for a smokey eye which evokes the 1930’s ( a perfect match with the chosen dress), and to follow a magnificent and elegant banana hairstyle.

And here I am, magically transformed into a red carpet star. It was almost difficult to recognize myself! Single and group photos couldn’t go amiss (one one gorgeous than the other) and ofcourse the famous statue (a copy of the original). Time literally flew by, and as we know, dreams are brief, but to be catapulted in the true sense of the word, into the much loved and desired world of cinema was “fantabulous” to say the very least… 😉
