La meravigliosa esposizione dedicata alla nuova collezione di sciarpe “Foulards d’Artistes” Louis Vuitton, realizzata in collaborazione con artisti internazionali come Aiko, Retna e Os Gemeos. Nello spazio anche la mostra fotografica di Olivier Zahm di Purple Magazine, che ha immortalato Shirori Kutsuna con indosso alcuni modelli progettati dagli artisti.

A wonderful celebration for the new Louis Vuitton Textile Collection, made in collaboration with international artists Aiko, Retna, and Os Gemeos. The space also features an photo exhibit from Olivier Zahm of Purple Magazine, capturing Shirori Kutsuna wearing Louis Vuitton Textiles.

NEW INDIA DESIGNSCAPE @ TRIENNALE

Fino al 24 febbraio 2013 negli spazi del Mini & Triennale CreativeSet, è in mostra un’ inedita selezione dei più interessanti lavori dei designer indiani contemporanei, a cura di Simona Romano con la collaborazione di Avnish Mehta e allestimento di Kavita Singh Kale.

New India Designscape presenta la complessità di un contesto, di un paesaggio, in cui prevalgono le interrelazioni e le continue interrogazioni sul progetto più che la fissità di identità nazionali e di figure in sé concluse, come i maestri delle generazioni passate.

Sacro e profano, naturale e artefatto, urbano e rurale: dimensioni opposte solo in apparenza, che si incontrano e mescolano nei lavori dei giovani creativi indiani.

Da non perdere le opere della stilista Aneeth Arora e il duo Sahil and Sartak.

Through to the 24th of February 2013 at the Mini & Triennale CreativeSet an exhibition of an unpublished selection of some of the most interesting contemporary Indian designers works. The exhibition is closely followed by Simona Romano in collaboration with Avnish Mehta e staging by Kavita Singh Kale.
New India Designscape presents the complexity of a context, a landscape in which the interelations prevail and the continuous questions of the project arise more so than the national identity, like the great teachers of a past generation.
Sacred and profane, natural and artefact, urban and rural: completely opposite dimensions but only in apperance, which both meet and mix in all the young Indian’s creative designs.
Try not to miss the stylists Aneeth Arora and the duo Sahil and Sartak’s works of art.

Un mix apparentemente stravagante quello che ho scelto per quest’outfit.  Ho infatti voluto “giocare” con  due stili completamente opposti ( bon-ton e rock)  ma che possono assolutamente trovare un loro equilibrio se pensati e studiati nella giusta maniera. Un’acconciatura decisamente bon-ton, come il cappotto con cinturino e l’abitino con dettagli gioiello sul collo ed elastico in vita. Make-up  e sandali tartan borchiati, sono assolutamente e  decisamente rock. I bracciali che ho scelto in rosso e oro, danno invece  quel giusto tocco natalizio, ideale per questo periodo 🙂

Questa la mia personale versione/interpretazione del bon-rock style 😉

I chose an extravagant mix for this outfit. Infact I wanted to “play” with two completely opposite styles (bon-ton and rock) which when studied and contemplated, can find their own equilibrium together. A decisively bon-ton hairstyle, as the coat with a belt and the dress with the jewelled neckline and elaticated waist. Make-up and studded tartan sandals are absolutely decisively rock. The red and gold bracelets on the other hand give the right Christmas touch which is ideal for this season.

This is my personal version and interpretation of a bon-rock style 😉

Stile iconico, charme, lusso, il sogno di ogni donna, Chanel: vera eleganza senza tempo. La geometria e la modernità sono protagoniste della collezione primavera-estate 2012. Il tutto rigorosamente rispettando lo stile e lo spirito della Maison. Il sempre più creativo ed eclettico Karl Lagerfeld ha letteralmente rivoluzionato e “stravolto” i modelli delle borse nelle forme e nelle misure. Il suo obiettivo principale è quello di stupire e di farsi notare. Pochette in pvc con logo impresso, ma anche le classiche e amatissime in pelle matelassè con catenina vengono proposte in meravigliose versioni multicolor. Ma la vera “regina”, colei che farà letteralmente impazzire tutte le fashion victim è la maxi bag oversize, formata da due cerchi perfetti che sostituiscono la classica e amatissima catenina.

Meravigliosi e preziosissimi i bijoux, come i bracciali gioiello con maxi logo in pvc, impreziositi da pizzi. Ma sono sempre le perle a rappresentare il binomio intramontabile con la Maison. In tantissime versioni, delicatamente classiche e raffinate. Pezzo cult, la collana di maxi perle. Sarà sicuramente il super oggetto del desiderio, vero must have (per chi potrà permettersela) della prossima stagione…

Iconic style, charme, luxury, every woman’s dream; Chanel; true timeless elegance. The geometry and modernity are the real protagonists of the spring-summer 2013 collection. Everything rigourously follows the Maison’s style and spirit. The ever more eccentric and creative Karl Lagerfeld has literally revolutionalised the designs of the bags in both their shapes and sizes. His main objective is to shock and be noticed. Pvc pochettes with a burnt in logo, and even the classic and much loved matelassè leather bags with chain are proposed in magnificent multicoloured versions. But the real “queen” which will make all fashion victims go wild is the oversized maxi bag, made up of two circles which substitute the classic and much-loved chain.

Magnificent and overwhelming bijoux, like the jewelled bracelet with maxi pvc logo, and embellished with lace. But the pearls as always remain the timeless binomial of the Maison. Delicately classic and elegant, and in many different versions. The pearl necklace is an item of cult. It will surely be the most desired object and a must-have (for those who can afford it) for next season…
