A volte capita di sognare ad occhi aperti, a volte ti sembra che tante cose siano lontano da te, che non ti appartengano, che non esistano … ma in realtà proprio quelle cose “irreali” stanno, senza rendertene conto cambiando –per certi versi- la tua vita. Abbiamo scattato queste foto in un momento, anzi oserei direi in un attimo parecchio strano.  Ero li, ma non ero li, la mia mente era totalmente proiettata a quello che avevo saputo qualche istante prima. Notizie per nulla belle. Poi succede che all’ improvviso tutto cambia…e i nostri pensieri assumono colori, sembianze, espressioni, diverse dal “solito e dal normale”. Sarebbe dovuto essere semplicemente uno shooting “fuori dalle righe”, ma, non so il perché , si è trasformato in qualcosa di molto, molto più inconscio e per certi versi suggestivo.

Sometimes it happens that you dream with your eyes open, sometimes things seem so far away from you, that they don’t belong or even exist… but in reality it’s exactly those things that are “unreal” which are changing without you even realising it. We took these photos in a very strange moment in time. I was there, but not entirely. My mind was somewhere else, with that something that I had not long found out about. Not good news at all. Then all of a sudden things change… and our thoughts take on colour, appearances, expressions different from the “usual”. It should have simply been a different kind of shooting, but I don’t know why it was transformed into something a lot more unconscious and in some ways striking.

Bacio, divertimento o trasgressione?… o meglio dire “la Vida es Chula”… Questo da sempre l’iconico motto del coloratissimo brand spagnolo Desigual che spinge proprio a vedere e intendere la vita con atteggiamento iper positivo e ottimista. Diverse e al tempo stesso complementari  le “Essencias de Desigual” trascendono da una semplice bottiglia, che diviene  un vero e proprio collage-patchwork  di stampe, rilievi, colori, che invogliano immediatamente e irrefrenabilmente  a toccare, annusare… scoprire.  Tre fragranze (con tre misure da 30ml, 50 ml e 100 ml), perfette da portare in giro e ideali  per tutte le stagioni, gli umori e gli stati d’animo.

Quando ho provato questi profumi, è stato come immergermi totalmente in un mondo irreale. Sensazioni ed emozioni bellissime, che definirei in una parola… psichedeliche proprio come la stampa più famosa di Desigual : “galaxy” (carattarizzata  da una serie di cerchi), che colora e rende ancora più speciali le confezioni delle nuove  fragranze.  Sex, a base di gelsomino, vaniglia, muschio bianco, frutti rossi, lascia una scia calda, sensuale e  intensa. Impossibile resistere!  Love  ha il “sapore di un bacio”. Succoso e dolce al gusto di ribes nero e mandorli in fiore.  Sinonimo e  concentrato di felicità  Fun: allegro, vitale e leggero. Una vera e propria esplosione di agrumi, libertà ed euforia.

LE PANDORINE – FLASH NATALE COLLEZIONE DONNA A/I 2013-14

Qualche giorno fa, presso il nuovo store di Via Solferino 3 a Milano, il press day de Le Pandorine, il noto  brand, famoso per le sue frasi ironiche, accattivanti e graffianti. Tra le tantissime  novità  per la prossima stagione (che presto vi racconterò e vi mostrerò),  è stata anche presentata la nuova capsule collection Natale 2013. Caratterizzate da soffice e morbidissimo piumino, le borse proposte sono disponibili in cinque varianti, nei formati big e small.  I colori sono audaci, vivaci e tendenzialmente cangianti con stampe animalier e camouflage  bicolor. Mi sono divertita a provarle e riprovarle, vi confido che adoro il modello small, lo trovo particolarmente trendy, delizioso e originale. Impermeabili, ideali per diverse occasioni, coloreranno e  vivacizzeranno i nostri outfit e le lunghe e  grigie giornate invernali. The press day for Le Pandorine, a brand for its famous, captivating and sharp phrases, was held a few days ago at the new store in Via Solferino in Milan. The new capsule for Christmas 2013 was also presented amongst the new proposals (which I shall shortly write and show you). The bags which were proposed are characterized by soft down and are available in five different colours, in both small and large shapes. The colours are audacious, lively and basically iridescent with animal prints and two-tone camo. I had fun trying them all out, and must admit that I simply adore the small one, which I particularly find trendy, sweet and original. Waterproof, ideal for different occassions, they will colour and enlighten your outfit and the long grey winter days which lie ahead. UN PO’ CLASSICO, UN PO’ INNOVATIVO…

Non so perché, ma il montgomery rappresenta uno di quei capi che mi riporta indietro nel tempo -molto indietro nel tempo-. Avevo praticamente sempre le trecce, e amavo vestire –a modo mio- in stile british. Ricordo bene a quanto tenessi al mio caldo e “coccoloso” cappotto. Era sicuramente uno di quei pezzi che mai e poi mai sarebbe dovuto mancare nel mio armadio -avevo le idee già molto chiare-. È senza dubbio un evergreen, ma per questa stagione è “prepotentemente” ritornato come capo must have. In queste foto, ho voluto reinterpretarlo e riproporlo con un mood decisamente casual. A “contrastare” il classico e intramontabile montgomery, i super innovativi e rivoluzionari WR.UP Denim di Freddy  -in tessuto bioelastico jersey-elastam; 80%- 20%- ,  il pantalone, anzi  meglio dire il “new jeans” dall’effetto seconda pelle, che segue perfettamente la silhouette del corpo in maniera assolutamente perfetta e naturale. Vi assicuro, è come non avere addosso nulla. Una vera e propria seconda pelle. Confortevole, fasciante, trendy, scolpente, versatile e molto altro ancora…Perfetto con i tacchi, con delle scarpe dall’allure più maschile, ma anche –come nel mio caso- con delle sneakers iper cool !

I don’t know why, but the montgomery represents one of those items of clothing that brings me back in time – way back in time. I practically always had plaits, and used to love -in my own way- to dress in true British style. I remember how I used to treasure my warm and “cuddly” coat. It was most definately one of those items which could never be missing from my wardrobe – my ideas were already very clear back then. It is most definately an evergreen, and for this season it has made an “arrogant” comeback as a must-have item. In these photos I wanted to reinterpret and re-propose this coat with a decisively casual mood. I wanted to “contrast” the classic and timeless montgomery with the extremely innovative and revolutionary WR.UP Denim by Freddy – made in jersey-elastam bioelastic fabric; 80% – 20%, the trousers, actually it’s better to say “new jeans” have almost a second layer of skin effect which perfectly follows the contours of the body in a very natural way. I can assure you that it’s as though you have nothing on. It’s as though it truly were a second skin. Comfortable, trendy, shapely, versatile and much more…Perfect with heels, with a more masculine style of shoe, as well as – like in my case – with some cool sneakers!

BLAUER E BPD BLOGGER DAY

Un nuovo e divertentissimo blogger day, organizzato questa volta da due brand americani esperti e specializzati nel Urban e nello street  style: Blauer e BPD. Ritorno alle origini, pulizia, versatilità, libertà, eleganza, capi  funzionali, pensati per resistere ad ogni condizione atmosferica, precisa cura nei dettagli. Questo e molto altro ancora è quello che propone Blauer per  questo A-I 2013-14. La collezione che si divide in tre temi; Autenthic (Original Police Department), Thermal Performance (Hi-Protection), e Urban (City Elegance), racchiude perfettamente l’essenza del marchio, riassumendo quello che è il suo punto di forza: estrema  Funzionalità.

BDP, brand acronimo di Be Proud of this dress- per questa stagione punta prevalentemente sulla leggerezza e il calore. Accanto alla piuma, tra i materiali sempre presenti in collezione, non può assolutamente mancare il famoso e iper leggero nylon giapponese. Una delle caratteristiche principali di alcuni dei capi BPD, è quella di poter essere ripiegati  e compressi nella loro tasca esterna, trasformandosi così in pochette, ideali da portare in borsa e pronti immediatamente all’utilizzo. Perfetti, per chi come me è sempre in giro e non si ferma mai. Colori scuri tipicamente invernali, ma anche una palette dai toni allegri vivaci con  giochi di contrasto iper cool. Il trapuntino a rombo unisex è “tutto da provare”, e vi assicuro che una volta indossato, capirete la vera differenza !

A comeback to the origins, clean cut lines, neatness, versatility, freedom, elegance, functionality, thought up to endure any weather conditions and a careful attention to detail. BDP, acronym brand of Be Proud of this dress – for this season focuses mainly on lightweight and warmth. Along with the down and the forever present fabrics, the well-known and extremely lightweight nylon japanese, cannot go forgotten. One of the main characteristics of some of BDP’s garments is that they can be folded and placed in their external pocket, turning them into a pochette, ideal for putting into your bag and ready for use. Perfect for those like me, who are always out and about and never ever stop. Available in dark colours which are typically wintery, but also in a palette of bright colours with cool, contrasting tones. The quilted jackets are  unisex rhombus quilts and “to be tried”, and I can guarantee that once you’ve worn it, you’ll truly understand the difference!
