ESSENTIAL ROCK… CON FORNARINA PERFECT SHAPE S/S 2014

Un look che definirei “essential rock”; glamour, femminile e grintoso. Il trench rappresenta sempre un evergreen, in qualsiasi versione e in qualsiasi stagione. Quello che indosso – del giovane e talentuoso designer Mauro Gasperi – semplice ed elegante nelle linee, innovativo e trendy nelle scelta del materiale, è caratterizzato infatti dall’uso di una fibra straordianria,100%naturale, che da qualche tempo viene largamente usata anche in svariati settori della moda: la rafia. La morbida maglia in lurex asimmetrica di Ottod’Ame, dona all’outfit quel giusto tocco chic che non guasta proprio mai. Il tutto è abbinato ai nuovi jeans “Fornarina Perfect Shape” ss2014. Creato per rispondere alle più sofisticate esigenze di look e funzionalità, Fornarina Perfect shape, è in grado di mantenere inalterata la vestibilità del capo con quell’incredibile effetto push up, apprezzatissimo da noi donne! Tantissimi e nuovissimi i modelli proposti – boyfriend, bootcut, skinny, straight-  per questa stagione; una vastissima scelta di varianti, lavaggi, colori e personalizzazioni; per un jeans couture con quella perfetta anima street. Un jeans così viene valorizzato al meglio se abbinato con dei tacchi stiletto come si deve. Io ho scelto un modello che fosse in tema al mood glam-rock; in suede nere con borchie ton sur ton. Il dettaglio finale che esalta l’intero look e fa la differenza… l’originalissima acconciatura caratterizzata da una treccia al contrario – parte infatti dalla nuca- . Adoro giocare con i miei capelli è questa è proprio la stagione giusta.

A look which I’d define as “essential rock”; glamour, feminine and gutsy. The trench represents an evergreen, apt in every version and in whatever season. The item that I’m wearing -by the young and talented designer Mauro Gasperi- is simple and elegant in its lines, innovative and trendy in its choice of fabrics and is in fact characterized by the use of the extraordinary, 100% natural fibre, which for a while now has been used in various sectors of the fashion industry: raffia. The soft asymmetrical lurex jumper by Ottod’Ame gives the outfit that right touch of chic which never harms. It is all paired with the new “Fornarina Perfect Shape” ss2014 jeans. Created to respond to the more elegant demands of both look and functionality, Fornarina Perfect shape, is able to keep the wearability of a garment unaltered with the use of the incredible push up effect, greatly appreciated by us women! There are many new designs – boyfriend, bootcut, skinny, straight – for this season; an array f variants, washes, colours and personalizations; for a jeans couture with the perfect street soul. Such a pair of jeans is enhanced at its best when matched with some stiletto heels. I chose a pair which went with the glam-rock theme; black suede with ton sur ton studs. The final detail which enhances the look and makes the difference… the very original hairstyle characterized by a back to front plait -it starts from the nape. I love to play with my hair and this is the perfect season to do so.

THE CHARM OF A SLEEPING FUN FAIR

Stavolta a fare da scenografia al nuovo outfit, un Luna Park. Nulla di nuovo in tutto ciò, solo che a noi piaceva l’idea che fosse chiuso. Non so esattamente il perché, ma ho sempre trovato in questi posti una sorta di “strano fascino e mistero”.

Un look decisamente street. Uno di quei mood che come si dice… “non passa mai di moda”! Due le vere novità di quest’outfit di cui voglio parlarvi. Le sneakers di P13 Studio (“Una storia scritta con ago e filo”. Queste le parole della creatrice, che si è ispirata alla sua tanto amata nonna, che con infinita passione dedicava gran parte del suo tempo a ricamare col suo inseparabile telaio), in canvas con deliziosi ricami in filocotone e inserti in pelle ai lati e all’interno. E’ già oggetto del desiderio invece la “appena nata” clutch-pad  Fornarina. Si chiama Mia, ed è stata  creata dai designers del brand in occasione del lancio del nuovissimo e-commerce! E’ un’edizione limitata di 100 pezzi disponibile solo on-line. Di giorno è una shoulder bag che si trasforma la sera in una clutch da polso…per diventare ancora una comodissimo porta I-pad per le giornate on the go!  Trovo che sia davvero un’idea davvero attuale e contemporanea. In perfetto stile Fornarina.

E’ stato diverso e divertente “posare” per queste foto. L’atmosfera era “strana” e alquanto retrò. In sottofondo si udivano canzoni, (vere “perle”) del nostro repertorio italiano. Ma non solo, perché c’erano anche dei ragazzi indiani, addetti alle pulizie, che canticchiavano allegramente diversi pezzi che evocano atmosfere musicali in stile Bollywood.

Insomma, se vi va, mentre guardate queste foto, immaginate anche di ascoltare “vecchie” canzoni… il tutto assumerà sicuramente un “tono diverso” 😉

This time, it was a fun fair to set the backdrop. Nothing new in any of this, but we liked the idea that it was closed. I don’t exactly know why, but I’ve always found a “strange appeal and mystery” in these kinds of places.

A decisively street look. One of those looks which never goes out of fashion! There are two novelties about this outfit which I’d like to talk to you about. The P13 Studio sneakers (“A story written with a needle and thread”. These are the creator’s words, who drew inspiration from her old grandmother who spent a lot of her time embroiding on  her loom) are canvas with fabulous embroidery in cotton threads with leather inserts on the sides and inside. On the other hand the recently born Fornarina clutch bag is already an object of desire. It is called Mia and it was created by the designers of the brand in occasion of the new e-commerce launch. It is a limited edition with only 100 pieces available online. By day it’s a shoulder bag which transforms into a wrist-clutch by night…..and which becomes a comfy I-pad carrier for your busy on the go days. I think it’s a modern day brilliant idea. In true Fornarina style.

It was different and fun “posing” for these photos. The atmosphere was “strange” and somewhat retrò. In the background songs could be heard (real jewels), real Italian repertoires. But not only Italian because there were also some Indian guys, cleaners, who merrily sang different bits of songs which evoked a true Bollywood feeling.

So, if you like, whilst looking at these photos try singing some “old” songs…..it will all take on a different feel 😉

Questo uno degli outfit che ho indossato durante uno dei giorni della appena trascorsa fashion week milanese. Principalmente ton-sur-ton, “semplice” e chic. Il delizioso abito bon-ton caratterizzato da tessuto effetto jaquard e “importante” dettaglio ricamo, si abbina perfettamente al maxi cardigan in lurex di STEFANEL. Il tocco di colore, il rosso del bauletto di Fabi e l’originalissimo bracciale con calamita. Le mary Jane open toe con borchie e tacco scultura di Fornarina sono nello stesso tempo romantiche e rock, e donano al look uno spirito più “grintoso e deciso” 😉

This is one of the outfits that I wore on one of the Milan Fashion week shows. Mainly ton-sur-ton, simple and chic. The cute bon-ton dress was characterised by a jaquard effect fabric and enriched with lots of embroidery, and it perfectly matched the maxi lurex STEFANEL cardigan. A touch of colour came from the red Fabi bag and the very unique magnetic bracelet. The open toe mary jane with studs by Fornarina were both rock and romantic and gave the outfit a pushy and decisive touch.

Sarà stata la pomposissima gonna in poplin di Y3 a farmi sentire come una “principessa moderna”. Proprio dalla gonna infatti è nato il mood dell’outfit. Il blazer in pelle bianco sempre di Y3 “fa molto” rockstar. Non potevano decisamente mancare accessori e dettagli con borchie, teschi e catene per rendere il tutto ancora più “deciso e glam”…  😉

It must have been the voluminous poplin Y3 skirt to make me feel like a “modern princess”. The mood infact came from the skirt. The white leather jacket by Y3 is very rockstar. Ofcourse accessories with studs, skulls and chains couldn’t go amiss. These all made the outfit even more decisive and glam… 😉

Iperfemminile, romantica, raffinata, la collezione primavera/estate Fornarina, s’ispira alla meravigliosa e rigogliosa Palm Spring degli anni ’50.

Colori pastello, stampe floreali tessuti come il crochet e sangallo per i pizzi,chiffon, georgette, crépe e shantug per le sete.  Insoliti abbinamenti che giocano spesso con trasparenze e  doubleface inusuali.

Una “nuova idea di bellezza” libera e naturale, che la notte si veste di capi preziosi e rilucenti. Il black, è assolutamente il colore predominante specialmete su ricche balze che donano al look una ricercatissima e lussuosa eleganza.

Deliziosi accessori che sembrano rubati alle bambole. Micro tracolle e colletti gioiello, ma anche (per le più “aggressive e decise) meravigliose mary jane con effetto sangallo decorate da borchie e tacco scultura (le mie preferite). Pagliette a righe in versione rock e molto altro ancora. Con questa collezione Fornarina, mi ha sinceramente e piacevolmente stupita. Un perfetto equilibrio bon-ton rock davvero glam.

Super feminine, romantic, elegant. The spring/summer Fornarina collection is inspired by the 1950’s magnificent Pal Spring.

Pastel colours, floral prints like crochet and broiderie anglais, lace, chiffon, georgette, crèpe and shantug silk. Unusal combinations that often play with transparencies and unusal doubleface.

A “new idea of beauty”, which is both free and natural, which in the evening dresses up with shiny garments. Black is the main colour especially on the many ruffles that give the look a sought-after and luxurious elegance.

Exquisite accessories that seem to have been stolen from dolls. Micro shoulder bags and bejewelled collars, but also (for those more aggressive and decisive) beautiful mary-jane shoes with a broiderie anglais effect and decorated with studs along with a sculptured heel (my favourite). Stripy straw hats in a rock version, and much much more. This Fornarina collection has truthfully and happily amazed me. A perfect balance of bon-ton rock glam.
