Stavolta una location davvero affascinante ha fatto da cornice a questo outfit  “pazzamente cool”.  In realtà quel giorno ci trovavamo li per un appuntamento, ma poi  visto la meraviglia di posto (che ci ha particolarmente ispirate), abbiamo chiesto se potevamo “approfittarne” per scattare qualche foto. La biblioteca della moda, un vero paradiso per tutti gli addetti ai lavori e non solo. Un grande archivio privato nel quale poter consultare, ma anche vendere o acquistare libri, riviste, stampe, quaderni di tendenza dal 1850 a oggi.

“Piume e libri”, così ho voluto chiamare questo post. Look decisamente street style, “strambo e frizzante”, ma che si fonde perfettamente con l’arredamento raffinato ed elegante che lo rappresenta.

This time a fascinating location was the set for this “crazily cool” outfit. To be honest, we found ourselves there that day because we had an appointment, but then I saw the wonders of the place (which immensely inspired us) and we asked if we could take advantage and snap a few photos. The fashion library, a true paradise for its workers, but not only for them. An immense archive in which to look up, but also buy and sell books, magazines, newspapers, trendy books from 1850 up until today.

“Feathers and books” is what I wanted to call this post. A decisively street style look, eccentric and fizzy, but which blends in perfectly with the elegant and sophisticated furniture.

MY OUTFIT FOR THE VANITY FAIR SMASHBOX PARTY

Un’ occasione davvero speciale, il meraviglioso party che Vanity Fair ha organizzato per festeggiare l’arrivo in Italia di Smashbox (notissimo make-up amato dalle Celebrities di Hollywood). Sull’invito c’era scritto: dress code long dress o in alternativa cocktail dress. Non capita proprio tutti i giorni di indossare un abito lungo. Per questo motivo ho deciso che era assolutamente l’occasione giusta per poter finalmente sfoggiare un favoloso long dress.

Nonostante l’abito fosse decisamente long e con uno spacco super impegnativo, ho fatto del mio meglio per non essere impacciata e sembrare più disinvolta possibile. E’ stato divertente immedesimarsi nel ruolo di star hollywoodiana. Come in un meraviglioso sogno, un sogno volato via in un batter d’occhio ma assolutamente prezioso e indimenticabile.

The fabulous party organised by Vanity Fair to celebrate the arrival of Smashbox to Italy (well-known make-up much loved by the Hollywood celebrities) was a truly special occassion. On the invitation was written: dress code long dress or cocktail dress. You don’t get to wear a long dress everyday. It is for this reason that I decided that it was the perfect occassion to fnally wear a beautful long dress.

Even though the dress was long with an extremely prominent split, I tried my best not to be clumsy and to appear as nonchalant as possible. It was fun putting myself in the shoes of a hollywood star. As though in a fabulous dream, the dream flew by in a split second, but truly unforgettable and exquisite.

Onde che si infrangono sugli scogli scurissimi, i meravigliosi faraglioni di Acitrezza, la fresca e leggera brezza primaverile…Un’outfit davvero semplice ed essenziale. Protagonista il long dress romantic-rock Relish. Abbiamo scattato queste foto il 19 marzo, ma sembra ieri.  Il mare, il mio mare, quello dei ricordi indimenticabili e speciali.

Waves that crash on the dark rocks, Acitrezza’s fabulous faraglioni, the fresh and light spring breeze…a very simple and basic outfit. The protagonist id the long romantic-rock Relish dress. We took these photos on the 19th of March, but it seems like only yesterday. The sea, my sea, that of my unforgettable and special memories.

MY FIRST OUTFIT BY KARL LAGERFELD

Il mio primo outfit firmato Karl Lagerfeld. Si proprio lui, in assoluto uno dei miei miti di sempre! Look black & white, decisamente minimal-chic. L’occasione era davvero importante e molto prestigiosa: l’inaugurazione della mostra fotografica di Karl Lagerfeld “Chanel -The Little Black Jacket” (prestissimo il post della meravigliosa serata). Ho avuto la possibilità di scegliere tra tantissimi abiti, ma in realtà la mia idea iniziale era quella di voler indossare un completo (in perfetto stile Karl). Completo “rigoroso” e raffinato, composto da tre pezzi: blazer, blouse in seta con spacchi sulle maniche e shorts-bermuda. A completare il tutto e a dare un tocco di colore, la maxi clutch in pelle rosa cipria, “effetto metallico”. Adoro questo look e adoro assolutamente Karl 😉 …

My very first outfit designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Yes, him, my absolute idol! A black & white look, extremely minimal-chic. The occassion was very important and extremely prestigious: the inauguration of Karl Lgerfeld’s photographic exhibition “Chanel – The Little Black Jacket” (a post of the magnificent evening will follow shortly). I had the possibility to choose clothes from a huge selection, but to be honest my initial idea was that to wear a suit (in true Karl style). A “rigorous” and elegant suit made up of three pieces: blazer, silk blouse with slits on the sleeves and bermuda shorts. To complete the look with a touch of colour, a powder pink maxi clutch with metallic effect. I adore this look and I absolutely adore Karl 😉 …

Un outfit essenziale, composto da pochi pezzi “semplice” ma di grande effetto. Per una serata importante (l’inaugurazione del nuovo Excelsior Milano di Verona) ci vuole assolutamente qualcosa di speciale e  super luccicante. Perfetto il mini dress di Luckylu  full paillettes taglio “canotta”. Il blazer di ferrè  da quel  giusto tocco chic, le decolletè  pump regalano al look un tono grintoso e glam. A completare il tutto il maxi bracciale steel silk di Breil, orecchini a cerchio e anello in acciaio e cristalli Brosway 😉

An essential outfit made up of just a few “simple” pieces but with a huge effect. A special and sparkly outfit is absolutely necessary for an important evening (the inauguration of the Excelsior Milano in Verona). The sequined tank-top Luckylu minidress is perfect. The Ferrè blazer gives the outfit the right chic touch and the decolletè pumps give it the right touch of glam. The look is fully complete with the addition of the steel silk Breil maxi bracelet and Brosway circular shaped earrings and steel and crystal ring 😉
