COME IN UN QUADRO

Inizialmente, il mood di questo shooting sarebbe dovuto essere una sorta di “nuova principessa, moderna, contemporanea”.  Poi  invece, guardando le foto scattate da Marcella, “ho visto e ho sentito” un’atmosfera diversa, strana e surreale. Un volto  -il mio- , “antico”, quasi rinascimentale. Mi ci è voluto davvero un’instante… quell’ instante che mi ha “teletrasportata” tra luci e ombre dentro un quadro. Sognante, malinconica. Nostalgica. Credo che in queste foto siano venute fuori una parte di  “quelle emozioni” … si quelle emozioni che segretamente custodisco e nascondo in un minuscolo angolo del mio cuore.

Initially the mood for this shooting should have been a sort of “new, modern, contemporary princess”. But then, looking at the photos taken by Marcella, “I saw and felt” a different type of atmosphere, almost strange and surreal. A face – mine -, “antique”, almost from the Renaissance. It took just a second…that quick second to “teletransport” me inside a painting. Dreamlike, melancholy, nostalgic. I really believe that a part of “those emotions” came out in these photos …yes, those emotions that I secretly guard and hide in a small part of my heart.

2W #LOVEPAVIA: second look

Questo il secondo e ultimo post -outfit, dedicato al neo brand “Two women in the world” e “Two men in the world”, meglio conosciuti con i loghi 2W e 2M. Il progetto “vivi, interpreta e mostra il tuo #urbancharme con #2w”, prevedeva di fotografare i capi  scelti in angoli e location suggestive della propria città. Per questo look ho scelto un mood tendenzialmente chic, mantenendo però quella che è la vera e pura anima del brand: urban/metropolitano.  Il modello di jeans che indosso in queste foto è il New Tina 99405, in velluto, 5 tasche, effetto vintage. Iper confortevoli, versatili e assolutamente glamour, ideali per diverse occasioni e situazioni. Adoro il colore blu notte che a mio parere si abbina perfettamente al nero di alcuni pezzi dell’ outfit. Era una bellissima e meravigliosa giornata di sole, il cielo terso, limpido e “perfettamente azzurro” come raramente capita di vedere. Il Ponte Coperto di Pavia – ponte sul fiume  Ticino che collega il centro storico cittadino e il resto della città -, sempre più incredibile e affascinante, rappresenta senza alcun dubbio  il grande punto di riferimento per tutti coloro che amano ammirare Pavia e il suo caratteristico fiume.

This second and last post is dedicated to the new brand “Two women in the world” and “Two men in the world”, better known as 2W and 2M. The “live, interpret and show your #urbancharme con #2w”, foresaw taking photos of the chosen items in ones own city. For this look I basically chose a chic mood, but one which is the true soul of the brand: urban/metropolitan. The jean model I am wearing in these photos is New Tina 99405, in velvet, 5 pockets with a vintage effect. Extremely comfortable, versatile and glam, ideal for a variety of different occasions. I love navy blue which I really think goes well with the black in some bits of the outfit. It was a magnificent sunny day, clear blue sky which happens quite rarely. The Ponte Coperto in Pavia, the bridge over the River Ticino which connects the historic city to the rest of the city, is as always incredible and charming, and it represents, without a doubt, the biggest reference point for all those who love to admire Pavia and its characteristic river.

2W #LOVEPAVIA: first look

In questo post vi racconto del nuovo progetto al quale sono stata coinvolta circa un mese fa; progetto, che mi ha immediatamente divertita, entusiasmata e affascinata.  Si tratta del neo brand “Two women in the world” e “Two men in the world”, meglio conosciuti con i loghi 2W e 2M. La nuova collezione lanciata e presentata proprio questo autunno, pensata non solo per noi donne, ma anche per tutti gli “ometti” iper fashion, è dedicata all’allure e allo stile metropolitano.  In occasione della presentazione del nuovo sito aziendale, il brand ha pensato di far interpretare -tramite il progetto ideato appositamente “vivi, interpreta e mostra il tuo #urbancharm con #2w”-   ad alcune blogger italiane, in maniera del tutto libera e personale, alcuni dei nuovi meravigliosi capi della collezione. In questo primo look  -seguirà presto il secondo-, indosso il modello di jeans “Morich” 97441 slowcy, 5 tasche lavaggio vintage. La grande particolarità di questo modello, sta proprio nel tessuto che, grazie alla sua estrema morbidezza, lo rende speciale, unico e assolutamente confortevole.  L’idea del brand è quella appunto di sottolineare – attraverso scatti e foto che evidenzino zone, atmosfere e squarci particolarmente suggestivi della nostra città-  al meglio il concetto dell’ #urbancharm. Queste foto sono state scattate in una delle location di Pavia – città nella quale vivo ormai da parecchi anni- che amo di più: il parco del noto Castello Visconteo.  In quest’ outfit un look decisamente casual, ideale per affrontare con stile e disinvoltura la così detta “ giungla metropolitana”.

In this post I will tell you about a new project in which I took part about a month ago; a project wjìhere I had fun and was very enthusiastic of. It’s about a new brand called “Two women in the world” and “Two men in the world”, better known as 2W and 2M. The new collection, launched and presented this autumn, thought up not only for us women, but also for all those “little men” who are super fashionable, is dedicated to the allure and metropolitan style. In occassion of the new company’s website, the brand thought of asking Italian bloggers to interpret – via the project “live, interpret and display your own #urbancharm con #2w”” –  a few of the new items from the collection in a personal and fun, free way. In this first look – the second will follow shortly – I am wearing the “Morich” 97441 slowcy, 5 pocket washable vintage jeans. The distinctive trait of these jeans is in the fabric thanks to its extreme softness which makes it special, unique and extremely comfortable. The brand’s idea is that to underline and better understand the concept of #urbancharm– via snapshots and photos that highlight areas, atmosphere and fragments of our city. These photos were taken in Pavia – the city in which I have lived now for many years – and that I love the most: the Castle Visconteo park. A decisively casual look for this outfit with a nonchalance style of the so-called “metropolitan jungle”.

IRIDESCENT DREAMS

A volte capita di sognare ad occhi aperti, a volte ti sembra che tante cose siano lontano da te, che non ti appartengano, che non esistano … ma in realtà proprio quelle cose “irreali” stanno, senza rendertene conto cambiando –per certi versi- la tua vita. Abbiamo scattato queste foto in un momento, anzi oserei direi in un attimo parecchio strano.  Ero li, ma non ero li, la mia mente era totalmente proiettata a quello che avevo saputo qualche istante prima. Notizie per nulla belle. Poi succede che all’ improvviso tutto cambia…e i nostri pensieri assumono colori, sembianze, espressioni, diverse dal “solito e dal normale”. Sarebbe dovuto essere semplicemente uno shooting “fuori dalle righe”, ma, non so il perché , si è trasformato in qualcosa di molto, molto più inconscio e per certi versi suggestivo.

Sometimes it happens that you dream with your eyes open, sometimes things seem so far away from you, that they don’t belong or even exist… but in reality it’s exactly those things that are “unreal” which are changing without you even realising it. We took these photos in a very strange moment in time. I was there, but not entirely. My mind was somewhere else, with that something that I had not long found out about. Not good news at all. Then all of a sudden things change… and our thoughts take on colour, appearances, expressions different from the “usual”. It should have simply been a different kind of shooting, but I don’t know why it was transformed into something a lot more unconscious and in some ways striking.

UN PO’ CLASSICO, UN PO’ INNOVATIVO…

Non so perché, ma il montgomery rappresenta uno di quei capi che mi riporta indietro nel tempo -molto indietro nel tempo-. Avevo praticamente sempre le trecce, e amavo vestire –a modo mio- in stile british. Ricordo bene a quanto tenessi al mio caldo e “coccoloso” cappotto. Era sicuramente uno di quei pezzi che mai e poi mai sarebbe dovuto mancare nel mio armadio -avevo le idee già molto chiare-. È senza dubbio un evergreen, ma per questa stagione è “prepotentemente” ritornato come capo must have. In queste foto, ho voluto reinterpretarlo e riproporlo con un mood decisamente casual. A “contrastare” il classico e intramontabile montgomery, i super innovativi e rivoluzionari WR.UP Denim di Freddy  -in tessuto bioelastico jersey-elastam; 80%- 20%- ,  il pantalone, anzi  meglio dire il “new jeans” dall’effetto seconda pelle, che segue perfettamente la silhouette del corpo in maniera assolutamente perfetta e naturale. Vi assicuro, è come non avere addosso nulla. Una vera e propria seconda pelle. Confortevole, fasciante, trendy, scolpente, versatile e molto altro ancora…Perfetto con i tacchi, con delle scarpe dall’allure più maschile, ma anche –come nel mio caso- con delle sneakers iper cool !

I don’t know why, but the montgomery represents one of those items of clothing that brings me back in time – way back in time. I practically always had plaits, and used to love -in my own way- to dress in true British style. I remember how I used to treasure my warm and “cuddly” coat. It was most definately one of those items which could never be missing from my wardrobe – my ideas were already very clear back then. It is most definately an evergreen, and for this season it has made an “arrogant” comeback as a must-have item. In these photos I wanted to reinterpret and re-propose this coat with a decisively casual mood. I wanted to “contrast” the classic and timeless montgomery with the extremely innovative and revolutionary WR.UP Denim by Freddy – made in jersey-elastam bioelastic fabric; 80% – 20%, the trousers, actually it’s better to say “new jeans” have almost a second layer of skin effect which perfectly follows the contours of the body in a very natural way. I can assure you that it’s as though you have nothing on. It’s as though it truly were a second skin. Comfortable, trendy, shapely, versatile and much more…Perfect with heels, with a more masculine style of shoe, as well as – like in my case – with some cool sneakers!
