“Rule & Divide” così si chiama la nuova collezione del sempre più super creativo designer Sergei Grinko. L’idea di Sergei, nasce proprio dal machiavellico motto del “Divide et Impara”, a cui però lo stilista desidera unire un’altra riflessione, più profonda e intrinseca, ossia unisci e governa”. Scontro e incontro… tra ciò che è inaspettatamente diverso. Da queste diversità scaturisce una perfetta ed armonica unione. Un nuovo concetto di sport-glam, dove la felpa ed il crop top vengono reinterpretati e impreziositi dall’ utilizzo di molteplici e ricercati materiali. Seta crepe de chine, organza, un elegantissimo piquet, un inedito broccato di cotone, fino a giungere ad una leggerissima e quasi impalpabile pelle, che viene accuratamente lavorata a rilievo, con un meraviglioso effetto tridimensionale. Le gonne hanno svariate lunghezze da mini a midi a long. Le felpe e di crop top, si trasformano in questa collezione in capi estremamente cool e raffinati, ricamate con stampe dalle tematiche oniriche e accuratamente impreziosite da cristalli Swarovski. La palette dei colori usati, va dal blu a tutte le sue declinazioni e derivati, fino ad arrivare ad un assoluto e iper chic total white. Le calzature (che come sempre compongono la capsule collection Mario Valentino for Grinko), sono composte da scarpe maschili, stringate basse oltre che da sandali aperti ma sempre e rigorosamente bassi.
“Rule & Divide” is the name of the new collection by extremely creative designer Sergei Grinko. Sergei’s idea comes from the Macchiavellian motto “Divide et Impara” to which the stylist would like to add a more profound and intrinsic consideration, which is “unite and govern”. Clash and meet…all that is unexpectedly different. A perfect and harmonious union arises from these differences. A new sport-glam concept where the fleece and crop top are reinterpreted and embellished with the use of multiple and sought after fabrics. Silk crepe de chine, organza, an elegant piquet, brocade cotton, right through to a soft and intangible leather, which is carefully handwoven and embossed with a magnificent three dimensional effect. The skirts have varying lengths from mini to midi to long. The fleeces and crop tops, in the collection, transform into extremely cool and elegant garments, embroided with dreamlike prints and embellished with Swarovski crystals. The palette of colours used, go from blue in all it’s various shades right through to chic white. The footwear (which as always make up the capsule collection Mario Valentino for Grinko) are made up of masculine shoes, low lace ups as well as open sandals but which are always and rigourously low.
