Unghie ricostruite, dipinte in modo tale da far “invidia” a Picasso. Lunghe, terribilmente lunghe, da far paura a Nightmare (il famoso e terrificante Freddy Krueger). Ma la naturalezza, dove diavolo è finita? Un conto sono unghie ricostruite in modo tale da rendere la mano più armoniosa e bella, un conto è renderla innaturale e a tratti volgare. L’unghia estremamente colorata e “aggressiva” può essere approvata, per così dire, in vista di una serata particolare, un evento un po’ insolito, ma non credo si adatti alla vita di tutti i giorni. A meno che uno non lavori con Moira Orfei… Magari te le vedi lì, in tuta, scarpe da ginnastica e la famosa falsa Louis Vuitton per apparire “semplici”, ma per poi sfoderare “l’arma segreta”, l’unghia killer. Dovrebbe essere obbligatorio il porto d’armi, per delle unghie così. Esagerata? Forse…ma non lo è anche chi non riesce a darsi un limite, posponendo la naturalezza alle leggi dettate dalla moda? Siate ottimiste, però! Carnevale è alle porte e di streghe c’è sempre bisogno.

False nails, painted in such a way to make even Picasso envious. Long, extremely long, enough to scare the infamous Freddy Kruger. But where has simplicity disappeared too? One thing are false nails which make ones hand look more beautiful and graceful, and it’s another thing to make it look quite unnatural and somewhat vulgar. An extremely colourful and “aggressive” set of nails can probably be acceptable if worn for a particularly unique evening or event, but I don’t really think it’s apt for everyday life. Unless ofcourse you work with Moira Orfei… Maybe you see her there, standing in a tracksuit, trainers and the infamous fake Louis Vuitton, all to appear “simple”, but then she unleashes her “secret weapon”; the killer nails. A gun licence should be compulsory for such nails. Exaggerated? Maybe…but aren’t those who can’t give themselves a boundary, forgetting nature completely and prefering what fashion dicates, exaggerated too? Come on, be optimistic! Carneval is on the doorstep and there is always a great need of witches.
