Lo ammetto, sono colpevole di tradimento.
Anch’io, come molte di voi, ho tradito i miei adorati tacchi con stivaletti bassi, decisamente antiestetici e privi di un qualsiasi tipo di buon gusto. Purtroppo, la neve è stata in grado di indurmi all’adulterio.
Eppure, ci ho provato. Davvero!
La sera della prima nevicata sono uscita dal lavoro con indosso le mie decolletè tacco 12…unico problema: raggiungere la mia automobile!
Tranquilli però, in mio soccorso è arrivata la mia cara vicedirettrice che, armata di pazienza, scarpe antinfortunistiche e di un kinder bueno (generosamente offertole da me per il gravoso servizio richiestole) mi ha accompagnata alla mia autovettura…l’unico ammonimento è stato: “Così impari a voler fare la f…”. Beh, come darle torto?!
Sarei dovuta uscire dal lavoro orgogliosa e fiera delle mie scarpe taccate e qualora fossi accidentalmente “scivolata” con il sedere a terra (cosa assai certa), l’avrei fatto in gran stile.
Non è forse vero che la fortuna aiuta gli audaci?!
Promesso, cercherò di ricordarmelo la prossima volta…

Betrayal by force, not with the heart.
I admit it, I am guilty of betrayal.
Like many of you, I too betrayed my much loved heels for flat boots, which are decisively ugly and lack any type of good taste and style. Unfortunately the snow was able to bring me to adultery.
However, I did try. Really!
The night of the first snowstorm I left work in my 12inch heels…only one problem though: how to get to my car!
No worries, help came my way in the form of my dear assistant manager, who, armed with patience, and wearing sensible shoes and holding a bar of kinder bueno (generously offered by the undersigned for her generous help) carried me to my car…the only warning was “this way you’ll learn to be so flash”. She wasn’t so wrong afterall?!
I should have left work proudly on my heels and if by any chance I’d have fallen (which was highly likely) I would have done so in great style.
Could it not be true to say that luck helps the daring!?!
I promise to remember it next time…
