Un’outfit simple/city; adoro i jeans, le maglie ampie e le zeppe. Quelle che indosso in questo post sono di MIU MIU, le avevo comprate un anno fa al Next Vintage a Belgioioso, appartenevano ad una modella francese  che ha la passione di collezionare favolose scarpe e borse, preferibilmente limited edition, poi stufa vende tutto senza aver mai indossato praticamente nulla e fortuna vuole che io e la modella abbiamo lo stesso numero di piede, 35.5/36 :-)). Bè, dopo avervi raccontato qualche curiosità sull’outfit, vi parlo di quella che è la vera protagonista di queste foto: la catena skull fluo di Stellina Fabbri. Il marchio di bijoux STELLINA FABBRI lancia una nuova capsule collection di collane dal sapore super glamourous: catene e teschi per un’estate fluo rock. Le catene in 5 colori, dai fluo fucsia, arancione e verde lime al gommato nero e bianco, sono abbinate, in un’infinità di possibilità con divertenti teschi in resina nei toni del verde mela, giallo, rosso, arancione, azzurro, viola, nero e fucsia. Già richiestissime nei negozi diventeranno l’accessorio cult dell’estate 2012, a quanto pare saranno tra gli oggetti più desiderati delle fashion girls italiane 😉

A simple/city outfit; I adore jeans, baggy jumpers and wedges. The ones I am wearing in this post are MIU MIU, and I bought them a year ago at the Next Vintage in Belgioioso. They belonged to a french model who has a passion for collecting fabuolous shoes and bags, preferably limited edition, and then when she gets bored she sells everything, even without ever having worn them. And luckily the french model and I have the same shoe number 35.5/36 :-)). After having explained my fun outfit, I’ll explain a little about the true protagonist of this foto: the fluo skull necklace by Stellina Fabbri. The bijoux brand STELLINA FABBRI launches a new super glamorous collection: necklaces and skulls for a fluo rock summer. The chains come in 5 different colours, from fluo pink, orange and lime green to black and white rubber. They are matched with an array of colours with fun skulls in apple green, yellow, red, orange, light blue, purple, black and fuchsia. They are already very sought after and will become the cult accessory for summer 2012, and it seems they are one of the longed for fashion items for all italian girls 😉

La mostra a Palazzo Reale vuole essere un omaggio al grande maestro originario di Aix-en-Provence e alla sua straordinaria e personalissima maniera pittorica che, poco compresa e molto osteggiata durante la sua vita, tanta influenza ebbe invece sugli artisti dei movimenti successivi come il Cubismo e il Surrealismo.

The exhibition at Palazzo Reale pays homage to the great master, orginally from Aix-en-Provence and to all his extraordinary and very personal artistic works of art, which were barely understood and very much opposed to during his life. However he had a great influence on artists from successive movements like Cubism and Surrealism.

Appuntamento dunque a Palazzo Reale per ammirare Paul Cézanne, l’artista che con il classicismo delle costruzioni e la forza dei colori ha modificato, in modo profondo e irreversibile, il corso della storia dell’arte del Novecento, il padre della pittura moderna, quel “ Bon Dieu de la peinture!” di matissiana memoria.

The appointment is hence at Palazzo Reale to admire Paul Cèzanne, the artist who with the classicism of construction and the strength of colour modified, in a very profound and irreversible way, the course of history in the 900’s, the father of modern art, that “ Bon Dieu de la peinture!” of Matissana memories.

Louis Vuitton rende omaggio al savoir-faire delle proprie collezioni di ready-to-wear e alla creatività del Direttore Artistico, Marc Jacobs, con una mostra curata da Katie Grand intitolata: “Louis Vuitton: The Art of Fashion”.
La mostra fornisce un punto di vista esclusivo sugli universi comunicanti della moda e dell’arte, che si fondono nelle creazioni di Marc Jacobs per Louis Vuitton. Il lavoro compiuto da Katie Grand su più di 70 collezioni permette ai visitatori di riscoprire la costante ricerca di eccellenza, artigianalità, così come l’approccio moderno alla moda di Louis Vuitton.
Per Katie Grand, che ha lavorato a stretto contatto con Marc Jacobs dal 2003, Louis Vuitton ha aperto le porte del proprio archivio storico, mettendo a disposizione abiti, borse e accessori appartenenti a tutte le collezioni dalla prima dell’Autunno-Inverno 1998-1999 fino all’Autunno-Inverno 2011-2012.
Il risultato sono 30 look emblematici creati a partire dai pezzi più significativi delle differenti collezioni, dagli abiti “coiffeuse” ai cappotti e gonne voluminose, che Katie Grand ha mescolato sapientemente per sottolinearne la natura moderna e senza tempo.

Louis Vuitton pays tribute to the savoir-faire of its ready-to-wear collections and to the creativity of the Artistic Director Marc Jacobs with an exhibition closely followed by Katie Grand: “Louis Vuitton: The Art of Fashion”.
The exhibition reveals a unique point of view on the communicating universes of fashion and art, which merge magnificently into Marc Jacobs’ creations for Louis Vuitton. Katie Grand’s project of working on more than 70 collections allows visitors to re-discover Louis Vuitton’s constant quest for excellence, craftsmanship as well as appreciate its modern approach to fashion.
Just for Katie Grand, who has been working closely with Marc Jacobs since 2003 on the fashion shows’ styling, Louis Vuitton opened the doors of its historical archives, thus giving her free access to dresses, bags and accessories from all the Louis Vuitton collections: from the first Fall-Winter 1998-1999  season up to the most recent Fall-Winter 2011-2012 season.
The result consists in 30 symbolic outfits from the most significant pieces of the various collections, from “coiffeuse” dresses to coats and large skirts, which Katie Grand skillfully mixed to highlight a timeless nature and modernity.

 Sulla Piazza S.Antonio si affaccia lo storico Caffè S. Giorgio, fondato nel ‘700 dai monaci e adibito a taverna. Un album raccoglie le firme dei personaggi illustri che dal 1907 sono passati per il borgo
In the Saint Antony Square you can find the old Caffè S. Giorgio, founded in the 700’s by monks used as a tavern. An album which holds the signatures of all the famous people who have passed through the village since 1907.
Non si vorrebbe più scendere da questo belvedere assolato: occhio vigile sul mare, le spalle alla montagna, il cuore dentro un castello in rovina.

Il Bar Turrisi espone con nonchalance i suoi falli in legno, coccio o ceramica, in un ambiente che sembra il regno dei masculi, retaggio di credenze magno-greche che solo qui, forse, resistono.
